It is only compatible with 2.2.1 or later. It says so on its iTunes page. Upgrade your firmware either to 2.2.1 or 3.0 and it should work.

it works very well on my iPod touch 2g and i cant understand why owners of the iphone 3g say that this game is laggy on there device!!

iphone touch 2G's CPU frequency is higher than iphone 3G. And with same memory size, the iPhone 3G need to run more background service, like Phone Service.

iPod Touch 2G has a faster processor than the iPhone 3G (but not as fast as the the iPhone 3GS)
