There is a flaw to all this. In the bible it says no man will know the exact day, hour or minute of the end of the world. And yet somehow this PRIEST figured it out.
Thessalonians says that day wont happen until the antichrist is revealed. I also believe that the same verses implies that the rapture will not happen until The actual physical return of Christ. I think its in 2nd Thessalonians. They are short books, im sure you can find it. Dont have time to look it up right now. As for the gates of hell prevailing against the church well that cant mean the church wont be persecuted. Christians are being persectued terribly in the middle east NOW.

While God give us the date of May 21st Doomsday in the Bible, that is not the date of the End of the World. May 2011 is just the beginning of Armageddon, and the time when Jesus rules over the Earth. With the jokes aside, Rapture, if I am reading and understanding scripture correctly, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, explains an event similar to said event. Also, to back up your theory of May 21st not being the Rapture, there's 3 verses you can mention - Mark 13:32, Matthew 24:36 and Acts 1:7.

Doesn't the bible say that no man knows when the world is going to end. no man knows the exact hour, or day of the end... that's what i heard. and if god is comeing well i don't mind. i wana see him anyways, so it ain't a big deal.

Some Christians believe that the rapture is not correct. I would suggest you look at my videos as to why the rapture is not going to happen tomorrow.

While God give us the date of May 21st Doomsday in the Bible, that is not the date of the End of the World. May 2011 is just the beginning of Armageddon, and the time when Jesus rules over the Earth. Those who aren’t saved in the May 21 Rapture will be left behind after Doomsday under the rule of Jesus Christ for the final five months until the End of the World in 2011.

With the jokes aside, Rapture, if I am reading and understanding scripture correctly, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, explains an event similar to said event. Also, to back up your theory of May 21st not being the Rapture, there's 3 verses you can mention - Mark 13:32, Matthew 24:36 and Acts 1:7.

I agree shock. I honestly don't believe in the rapture at all. It's best that we assume that it isn't going to come when we want it (assuming it's real), live for Jesus 100%, and be prepared to face what ever Satan throws at us.
Many people have lost their faith because of the rapture story. When the Chinese government started persecuting Christians, many lost their faith because it didn't happen. The rapture story creates a sense of false security within Christians today! God does not confuse!

@shockofgod I don't understand why God would allow us skip the Trib when almost all of Jesus' apostles died horrible deaths, look at what happened to Jesus himself. Didn't the pre-trib theory come from the Roman Catholic Church?

But you should very much aware that False Christians or Bible believing satanists or antichrists or christians in sheep clothing are more dangerous than atheists. Christians use the Bible to confuse Born Again or Bible believing Christians. Be aware brother.

I don't think we will know the exact date of the Rapture.
Matthew 24:36 "No one knows when that day or hour will come. Even the angels in heaven and the Son don't know. Only the Father knows.

I don't think the Rapture is going to happen May 21'st either. If you saw the guy who prophecied it, Camping, he's asking for money, that's right, he's misusing God and Jesus for his own personal benefit.

Does his prediction make it less likely that May 21st could be the day of the rapture? He did say "like a thief in the night" and so on, so couldn't it be just as likely to be tomorrow as another day? Maybe even MORE likely, because it seems so unlikely that his prediction is right? Hmmmmm.....

I'm sure Camping loves Jesus. And God works in mysterious ways. And who knows how even more nuts Camping would be w/o God? So I hesitate to condemn Camping. I'm even open to acknowledging the good this idea of his is working. It's gotten into the heads of a lot of secularists I know, like nothing else could. It's made them think about things and take stock.
Just this morning in prayer I was thinking about what if Christ withdrew His Power from the world and left us to entirely our own devices?
