LOL, surpassing Michael Jackson......record sales and concert tickets sold say otherwise. Michael sold more seats at Wembley than Elton could and he is a national treasure in his native England. Also they were good friends and Elton sent MJ a lot of encouraging messages during his troubles in the 90's and 2000's.
