Actually I think the flashlight in this game works better than most. It does have a couple of quirks, but once you figure out how to use it, it is more versatile in my opinion.

as the game progresses it gets harder i just like using the map to see the white dots alot easier after u get smartgun u dont need anything autolock works in dark and u just fire lol 1 click and they dead

The Marine campaign was always creepy. If you're character is ever a human hunted by chest-bursting aliens and spine-ripping hunters that adds to the fear. How funny it is when being the human you feel most exposed and naked to attacks...

No, the scare from sh is totally different (it's like leaving you in the dark, with minimal source of lighting, and you can also see everything around you since the game is in third-person, plus you don't die as fast as you would in avp2). But in avp2, since it's first person, you can't see what's behind you, and above you at any given time. Plus the motion tracker doesn't seem to work well.

i played all characters str8 through on hardcore meaning no save untill u beat the stage. so i made a mission to kill all levels within 1 day after beating it on hard. once i got to the alien part to play as the beast, i nearly puked becuz of how dizzy i got running all over the walls. dont know if it was for playing 7 hrs str8 as marine and predator then alien, but once i was the alien i had to pause more then 8 times to stop the vertigo in my eyes..........................­.....

Looks to me the aliens were the hardest and maybe some of the most scariest enemies he ever had to deal with.

Thier pounce attacks and acid blood did not make them any easier to kill too. Let alone get through an entire level alive.

Though you do get used to it after a while, as you can clearly see when you compare Mesh in this Video to the Mesh in Doom 3.
