@65ways he was pretty athletic in earlier years but now hes older. he may not be a pretty player to watch but he gets the job done and is respected as much as ray allen
@65ways Im pretty sure the rest of the league is breathing a huge sigh of relief that he wasnt because he probaby would have a couple more rings now:)
@65ways He don't have to be atllethic ... becouse his hight and his post moves is same with athetiszm or without he can't be stop with that lil vertical so he don't need to wrok for more :P If u get me Idk how to explain you :P
Great mix, great song, thanks for posting this, he's definately one of my most favorite low post guys in NBA,,Basketball history simply because of the fundamental aspects of his game. No flashy crap like Dwight Howard. Simply, tough. Hook shots, master of the bank shot, etc. etc. THANKS for posting this for us to see and//or watch..!!!
Tim is def not soft. I like how people forget he played the 2005 playoffs and finals with messed up ankles and he still owned! He was also one of the only 2 original players(AI the other) selected for Team USA to play..everyone else either did not play or feared for their own safety (understandably so) Now if only there was a way to invent a youth serum haha
Tim is the greatest Power forward period. But I hate Shaq all he is power and power won't last forever you will loose your athletic ablitiy sooner or later but Fundemetals you won't loose look how good Duncan is playing now amazing. But I hate Bowen dirty denfender and Ginobli big flopper. Parker I respect and Duncan who will always the greatest Spurs player of all time
Outstanding job on the vid!! Looking at some of the old clips made me realize that Tim recovered rather well from that season ending knee surgery back in 2000..Here's hoping he can get 2 more rings!!!
I remember alot of people saying he was soft because he didnt play the rest of that season but after seeing what happened to Grant Hill that same year and how it drastically changed his career, thank God he didnt continue playing. And with the aquisitions they got this year things are looking good again for the Spurs. And thanks for the comment by the way. Go Spurs!!
like shaq said the other day their are to big men in the game that count him and the big fundamental.they have both done it all on their own and with other roll players to.
when he was young he could score on anyone no matter who u r. he would shoot if he missed he would get the board and slam it right back down in ur face. he was like an athletic shaq that could shoot.
It was a combination of great footwork and athleticism. Suprisingly he never had a high vertical but because of his great footwork, and quickness, he could manuever around defenders and get to the rim easily. He's a master of the fundamentals of the game.
TIM DUNCAN simple but very affective. this how u win a championship

Gifted in the low post, exceptional at rebounding, and such a tremendous defender. It will certainly be an emotional day when #21 retires.

If you want to win a championship, you get Lebrons, Kobes, and D-Wades; but if you want to win championships, you get Tim Duncan.
rebas82 2 years ago 14
@rebas82 I like Duncan and all, and I agree with the above statement except for the Kobe part, Kobe's got 5 to Timmy's 4 :/

Great clips.
The clips are better than the first part of that TD mix, however,I think the music part of the first part is better.
Timmy is the best PF ever.
