Beno, Memín Pinguín es un querido personaje de nuestras historietas: un travieso y astuto chiquillo quien tiene un montón de amigos y varias veces es discriminado por su color o por su pobreza, per él siempre sale adelante. Cuando las industrias del cómic y la animación comenzaron, recurrían a la exageración para una dar mayor expresividad, pero ahora la gente se ofende por esto, recuerden al negrito de la warner que salía tras un cuervo o a speedy gonzalez, no es racismo, sólo pasaron de moda

De hecho es mexicano: La editorial Vid lanzó en 1990 (tenía 7) un álbum de estampas con personajes de historietas de las cuales tenía licencia. Cada cuadro llevaba dos estampas una en inglés y otra en francés y las estampas venían en las últimas páginas de estas historietas. (Nunca lo llené) Algunos de los personajes: Muppets babies, p. picapiedra, riqui ricón, p. lulú, pant.rosa, popeye, loquillo,gasparín,Archie,tom-j­erry,memín pinguín (el único local) muy parecido a Inky de la Warner

@MrGorilla1913 As fact It's mexican: A comics' editor (VID) launched an album of stickers of those licenced characters. Every frame must have 2 stickers: one in french and other in english. You got the stickers at the final pages of the comics. Some of these characters was: Baby Muppets, Lil'Flintstones, Richie Rich, Lil'Lulu, Pink Panther,Popeye,Woody Woodpecker,Casper,Archie, Tom & Jerry and Memín Pinguín (the only local character) which a little similar to Inky of WB (Sorry 4 my English)

@kellyannabama Well, Memín Pinguín is a beloved character of our national Comic history, is a mischievous and smart kid, who have a bunch of good friends, many times he is discriminated for his skin or for his poverty but he always go ahead. When the comic (and animation) industries borned they resort to exageration for best expressions, maybe some people feel offended with it nowday, just remember Inky of WB, or the cartoons of lazy speedy gonzalez. No mamen, memin con los pequeños picapiedras, la pequeña lulu, los mupets babys, la pantera rosa, el pajaro loco, archi y riqui ricon, seguramente tuvieron que pagar un chorro de licensias para ese comercial. No mas falta uno mas actual en que salga con naruto, gon, ichigo, y demas personajes de manga que publica vid XD.
