I have a pal snes in perfect condition, no yellowing what so ever and it's much better than that America version with Purple buttons and an ugly shape and also does anyone know why the Americans got a different snes?
You dont like the colour scheme of grey and yellow? you idiot - the yellow is a result of age, left out in the sun too long or what ever! it was originaly white/grey!
Your nintendo is yellow. Like mine :D (yellowing). and I love the SNES design much more than the USA one. also the cardriges look stylisher than the strange USA ones. :P
Hey, the American design of the SNES isn't that bad. Aside from the yellow coloration from oxidization over time from the earlier models, it's not too shabby.
Um... U really know nothing about this do you?? You said that you didn't like the murky yellow color. It's meant to be a creamy color but u got it off a bad resorse and get it yellow which yes does look like shit. The pal snes looks much better than the American one
i have discovered that the snes cd rom addon the playstation was atualy could play station, but sony removed the space between it and call it the playstation.
will nintendo was looking for a new storage medium,it was sony wich come up with idea of the playstation!!!!!!!!
PAL stands for Phase Alternating Line. It refers to the TV standard commonly used in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, among other places. North America uses NTSC, which stands for National Television System Committee. For more information, use the intertubes.
Dude, the plastic was cheap so earlier consoles turned yellow. And compare this to other consoles of today and yesterday, quite good looking if it isn't yellowed.
Also The Bottom Input wasn't for a CD addon as Nintendo had no desire for one. It was for the Japanese Satellaview or Satellite TV Game Addon but the European and NTSC SNES' never got the Satellaview
The consoles weren't originally that yellowy murky colour. When first released, the SNES had a consistent grey. I think it looks much sleeker than the ugly US version, with it's lavender colour scheme and blocky appearance.
quiet possibly the worst review i ever seen, congrats

Nice review I guess that Nintendo of Japan should've gave the Europeans the American Design and the Americans the PAL version.

Thumbs up if you think this guy is completely wrong about the look/design of the pal version...
All SNES's should have looked like this imo..
Saw the american version before this vid by accident and my words were literally "What the F*** is that!?" lol

As if Snes carts weren't big enough over here, the American ones were even bigger.
Is it me, or is everything BIG/LARGE/OTT in America? :P.

@Doom2Guy actually its not that bad, but the pal version is much nicer. The megadrive 2 is really ugly!
