The producers wanted to help by not putting further stress on his heart so the let him off the show. And then yeah years later on the first day of the release of Stargate Continuum he had a massive heart attack...

New Stargate series coming, ironically titled "Stargate: Universe" Search it on youtube. I'll try to post a video response of the new trailers. Show to air on SciFi channel in Oct. 2009. And no SGU is not spin off like Atlantis, its a stand-alone series of the franchise.

The guys of SGA weren't bad actors, just the opposite.

Btw. , you missed many SGA episodes with Daniel, O'Neil, Teal'c and in special Sam.

Also Michael Shanks wasn't a very good actor, he just played the charakter Daniel very (veeery) well, because Daniel was much like himself. (Look a few movies with him and you will know what I mean, he was awful. Sad but true).

Early stargate villains tend to be somewhat boring, but later ones are brilliant (especially baal and adria)

I had a lot of doubts about farscape actors migrating into SG1 but the chemistry turned out to be pretty awesome.

Witty comebacks from both heroes and villains is what makes stargate so enjoyable to watch.

Stargate crew made their shows a lot better than Star Trek, but many shows have the same idea.

yeah, Stargate is way better, mainly because they make you laugh throughout the whole show. The closest Star Trek came to this was in Voyager with their Hologram Doctor, played by a guy called R. Picardo, Mr. Woolsey from Stargate. Another one was Lt. Barclay character. Its funny to watch, especially since nobody in 21st century can take ST aliens seriously.

stargate universe will use the 9th chevron to gate to an Ancient ship. There were two Ancient ships one was to seed the galaxy with stargates and the other was to follow up and explore but they didn't, since they, aka ,the Ancients ascended.

only a couple of the above. I predict the next fighter will have shields, definitely, and maybe some fixed hyperdrive issues down the line (maybe). They're GOING to make new weapons, lol that's what they do.

But if not a new fighter type, then something completely different, like an Earth-made parallel to the Puddlejumper (well, that's been used as a fighter type too, but still) or a transport or small tactical bomber or gunship. I don't know what would prompt them to come up with that, though

Man.. I so want to see the X-305 be developed and tested.

They already have the BC-304 as their new battlecruiser series and they seem to be fine with those upgraded repeatedly now, and the F-302 is the current fighter model, though that has some issues. The BC-302 is the Prometheus class, which is now obsolete and replaced by the Daedalus class. Soo I'm thinking the X-305 will be either an improved fighter that has better mobility, hyperdrive, speed, &/or weapons/armor, though most likely ...
