He also wanted Texas to join the United States before, during and directly after the Texas Revolution, but didn't get his way until his protege Anson Jones was elected Texas president and pushed for annexation. Secession isn't just anti-Houston and anti-American, it's ANTI-TEXAS.

You're correct on Sam Houston's opinions and actions before the Civil War and Texas suffered horribly by ignoring Houston's warnings on secession. He also wanted Texas to join the United States before, during and directly after the Texas Revolution, but didn't get his way until his protege Anson Jones was elected Texas president and pushed for annexation. Secession isn't just anti-Houston and anti-American, it's ANTI-TEXAS.

The federal government is in open rebellion against the people. They've stripped us of our federal Constitution via the Patriot Act and are leaving the states little choice but to secede or cease to exist as a free people.

Last Texans are Americans, vast majority of them consider themselves Americans. Vast majority want to be part of the country. Even Rick Perry the one who started this shit said he wouldn't support secession.
Foreigners like to support any brake up of the US, at least most third world countries.
