SHSH Blob breakdown: What they are and How to use them

My iPhone3GS is on 4.1 but the are like a total of 9 SHSH Blobs and are the following 3.1.3, 4.0 4.0.1, 4.0.2 4.1 4.2.1, 4.3.3 and 4.3.5

can u downgrade withought shsh on mc models? or do u have to have shsh blobs?

@shelob144 yea u can, u don't even need shsh blobs to downgrade, just download the firmware and press shift +restore in itunes.

Why the hell are there tons of videos telling you how to backup the shsh blob but there's only video one youtube giving iany insight on how to actually use it?

Ok, so I understand the SHSH blob thing a little better, but how do I use that to restore my iphone 3GS. I have fw 3.1.3 baseband 5.1.2. I jailbroke, unlocked and now want to restore so I can rejailbreak and reunlock and have a nice clean new phone again. Need help with the process if possible. Thanks

I used the Ih8sn0w shsh grabber and have it saved, but I dont know how to use it in order to downgrade to 3.1.3 ;s

Hey man Im in trouble and maybe you could help Im stuck, my iphone 3gs with 3.1.3 new bootrom got into rebooting purgatory going again and again. My only exit was to restore in the new ios4 since itunes didnt let me use a different firmware than the new one. Now I want to downgrade to 3.1.3 and dont really know how, in this video you said something about moving some setting in itunes to lie and use saurik's cydia server to get the shsh blob I think might have saved. 4 sure have it saved in my pc
