Usual charcoal does suck, but pure elemental carbon RULES in high explosives, as it contains more energy than alluminium... altough is a lot less reactive.

Aluminium: 16260Kj/Kg

Carbon: 35300Kj/Kg

?? what do you mean? thats what i post.. That carbon is more energetic that aluminium, but less reactive. If you mean to make it more reactive... well, thats why black powder comes along with sulphur. Also, black german alluminium haves carbon in it with increased reactivity.

su vuoi fare l'ammonal prova a fare cosi: prendi delle palline di nitrato di ammonio e le cospargi di polvere di carbone e di alluminio poi fai un sacchettino e lo infili in un petardo (potente)  io l'ho testato con 20 grammi ed è potentissimo!!!!!!! =)
