  • Very clearly explained! Thankx a lot!

  • Thanks

  • Thanks!! I'm building a web page at work and have ZERO training and this helped me a lot! I subscribed and will be referencing your work often I assume.

Also, I'm using Joomla 1.7 and the changes from 1.5 to 1.7 didn't cause confusion as far as what you explained here.

    Thanks again!

  • eyvallah birader :D

  • thanks, you saved me much time

  • i don't fucking get it. the joomla is so complicated. i cannot try a demo, the 5 steps are not clear. it's so annoying. Why can it nog be easy like they say it is!!

  • good. thanks

  • after install JCE, my article background become BLACK colour. before this white color. How to change back to white....

  • Thanks,

  • good, thanks its really helpful, as i have already installed the jce editor, however i was not aware of that i need to make that as default through global configuration.... thanks buddy

  • Great thank you.

  • To be able to post embedded videos you need to pay the $30 subscription for the Media manager (the button). Going through html doesn't seem to work anymore.

Any idea if there are other editors out there that still work? Or is this a Joomla problem?

    TIA!

  • @artemis023 thx

  • JCE isn't free for videos.

You need to pay a subscription ($30) to use embedding videos. :-(

Is there a better one out there that is actually free?

  • @artemis023 Are you saying you cant use the code editor in JCE to add an Object/Embed tag

  • @danscourses

Purchase a Subscription for just US$30 today and get access to the following exclusive benefits:

    Media Manager

Upload and insert media file types such as flash, quicktime, windows media and divx.

Insert and play flv files with the bundled flv player

Create inline popups of media files (requires JCE MediaBox)

    ----

I got around this using JComments and AllVideo instead. Thanks for all the tuts Dan!!! Well appreciated! :-)

  • thanks for the video....but there is NO insert flash button in the editor. how come?

  • On many of the editors I have seen you need to click the insert video or media button and it will work for the Flash swfs too. Try that...
