New Center David Anderson is going to be pretty good, Luis Scola is going to be EVEN better than he ever has been, Aaron Brooks is going to have a big break-out year, T-Mac will be coming back, Ariza is going to be better than Artest was through all of last year, and dont forget the deep & talented bench players we have too!

As long as they have that will to win like they had in the playoffs, the Rockets could be Darkhorse team this year.

They've also gotten a replacement center: David Anderson, who should be solid, so we should be good for a litttle while next season. Not to mention the returning cast of players from last year and recently acquired Trevor Ariza. People are counting the Rockets out, but they can still make the playoffs. GO HOUSTON ROCKETS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see: the Rockets may lose Yao for the entire next season and possibly a career threatening injury. McGrady is not expected to play until the 2nd half of next season. Ron signed with the Lakers, but Ariza signed with the Rockets. We have 3 draft picks picked up. Wafer is still a free agent so he may or may not come back. Even with the adversity, the Rockets could still be back strong next year. It sucks but we'll have to see. Go Rockets !!!!!

Are you serious? The Rockets were missing McGrady and Mutombo to injuries. Ron got ejected two games over crap that wasn't worth a suspension. Yao got injured in Game 2. The Rockets still played hard as a squad, turning to role players and reserves that rarely played. Injuries are a big part of determining a team's success so if the Lakers had players out with severe injuries, you would be pissed also. The Rockets were still the only team to take the Lakers to 7 games.
