THE BEST WAY is to get a pocket pounder and roll the ball up and down the mesh

until it forms, the pocket will sit where you have double up OR where the head is designed e.g with STX cant it will be middle-low but a crankshaft it will be relatively high if strung right

Take a sheet of fabric softener run it under hot water then rub it on ur pocket until all the soap is off then pout the ball where u want it with a knife or pen

(a knife might accidently cut ur sidewall strings)

just so you know water ruins your mesh. Initially your pocket will be bigger but then after it drys your mesh will get very hard and the pocket will be even worse than you started with.

what i do is after i string my head i place a ball where i want the pocket and fill my head with ice and let it melt over night... it molds the pocket as it melts and when it dries its ready to go
