Keep doing this untill there are no visual or tactile signs of soap or suds. This step is very important because if you don't get all of the soap out it will clog your group head and it won't work. Try not to noose up while you're at it..

Nice video very informative.

I have worked in quite a few cafes and I have noticed that some of them the soak the wand in bubbley water with lemons in the glass (My current workplace, don't remember the exact procedure in my last one).

Thankfully I'm not a barista there (They never even bothered to buy an espresso machine cleaning solution and the machine is cleaned once a week or so:/)

What happens to the steamwand if you soak it like they do?
