Major Healey askes Paul Lynde's character what Ann-Margret is really like. Paul Lynde, of course, starred as Ann-Margret's father in the movie, "Bye Bye Birdie."
Paul Lynde appeared three times on "JEANNIE", 'tono'- as "Harry Huggins" in "My Master, the Rich Tycoon" [9/26/66], "Allen Kerr" in this one [10/31/67], and "Commander Porter' (in the role originally intended for Don Rickles) in "Please Don't Feed the Astronauts" [2/13/68]. Lynde previously appeared in an unaired and unsold 1962 pilot called "HOWIE", written by Sidney Sheldon, and a 1963 episode of "THE PATTY DUKE SHOW", also written by Sheldon. Sidney wrote this under his alias "Mark Rowane".

I know I'm getting old when many of the posters here don't remember Paul Lynde.
Both Lynde and "Dr Bellows" were gay in real life.
