Stop relying on Glenn Beck for your history lessons and do your own research. Progressives kept groups like the British Union of Fascists from taking power in the UK. What is funny to me is that he's arguing that shouting and refusing to engage is not furthering the debate, but he is describing exactly how republicans have been behaving in their opposition to everything. There is no engagement with the facts. The Republicans can clap, but they have used shouting, lies, misinformation, fear and hysteria as a political strategy.
If Michael Steele agrees that opinions should not be "shouted" out because nobody understands why doesn't he advise his fellow party members to shut up and act like civilized people during the town hall meetings that they keep disrupting.

maybe because the vast majority of blacks and other minorities aren't republican so it doesn't serve their interest to elect a black chairman. Funny there has never been a black DNC chairman?
