i have a 60 card and 52 would work but alot of people use the max and you would have a disadvantage. so, in my opinion, i think having a few extra cards to add to the deck in case you do play someone with a 60 card deck but not have to keep them in.

i would make it 60 cards give you move plans to use but 52 is good if you want to keep it small i duel myself and have some kick a s s decks and a good amount of cards

if you still care, 5 months on, you can play 50 cards if you have plenty of searchers. shining angel (for w, y and z) and/ or gadgets will thin quickly a xyz/machine deck. maybe giant rats too. you can have more cards- you just need stuff to draw through your deck faster. oh and did i hear you say you had no spell cards at all? dude, frontline base at the very minimum gets the union monsters out quickly. plus when the new ban list comes out it'll be heavy storm, monster reborn and 3 MST's

anything over 40-42 is too much ok? you wont get far without 1. some kind of backbone inherent strategy and 2. ways to make your strategy feaseble. 52 cards is incredibly harmful to number 2 there guy. how could you pull anything off if you cant even get to the cards you need?

YuGiOh is not a children's card game. You might think it is, but it's not. I would love to see 6 year old kids to understand the 300 different rulings and strategies in this game. Not possible. Kids do play it, but a HIGH majority of the players are at least 20. Just sayin.

@BryanDing3000 YOU R SO FUCKING RIGHT. teens even mess up or forget the rules so how r young kids supposed to play at a good level. you need to be like 10+ to understand the effects and rules of the game. i'm like 17 in high school and yugioh is rampant. i even find myself messing up a little in duels. plus there is money involved, like buying decks, booster packs, single cards, etc... some people don't know how much strategy and time goes into dueling and that just makes u love it more.

furst off I like your idea of cyber, cyber dark and xyz very nice and its arigenal. on deck size I wood go with what you feel is right I have lots of decks and they range from 40 to 60 and most of them work very well it depends on your stratigy and how well you play your cards best of luck on your deck

My deck uses 50 cards, but the number doesn't matter that much. What matters is what you put into the deck.

my main deck has 60 cards i dont rely one one card i rely on over 20 different strong monsters but my favorite card in my main deck is wicked dreadroot it halves the atk and def of all monsters on the field except the card

I run 50 cards in my custom Kaiba deck, when I say custom I mean I put in 3 White Stones, Malefic Blue Eyes, Burst Stream of Destruction and the VW pieces. NO synchros, no way in hell.

ok what you need to do is go to a yugioh buying website and buy 3 machina mayhem decks and put them together and run 2 of each color gadget 3 machina gearframe and 3 machina foretress and 2 scrap recyclers and 2 cyber dragon and any 2 other good effect machine monsters. Trust me I know how good this deck is it tops regionals all the time if you want more info and want to look into this pm me and btw they are machines.

P.S. you should have a deck of no more than 42 cards, and nice video btw XD

So use many monsters with 2000+ that are level 4, but i also recomend around 3-5 level 5-6 normal monsters for better protection. The key to this deck is the second you get 1 heart of the underdog card you will win within 3 turns if you dont lose your hand. Lmk if you need any other decks, i could perhaps give you a nice cyber dragon deck, but i specialize in OTK decks. Happy to help :D

You want to have a deck that will destroy all else? Well Heres my best deck, still legal in tournies, and the best part is, it is an otk deck, and it will almost never fail. Although you may have to change it a bit to help yourself it will most likely not fail.

Put in any spell/traps you think may be necassary to save yourself but heres the list:

All 5 pieces of exodia, + 3 Heart of the underdog cards + 32 normal monster cards with low attack power but the highest defence possible, 2000+

52 is too many. Try to keep the deck around 40-44 cards total and you need to add Spell and trap support because if not you would get owned in actual tournaments. The meta would eat that deck alive. lol if you need anymore yu-gi-oh help just ask.

60 is too big for deck size cause you have to bring your ace monsters fast and with 45-60 cards you will have a hard time doing that. Try 42-43 cards. I can help you James if you want, I've made many machines decks before, I don't mind helping you out.

well, there should be some cards in your deck that just aren't as good as a the rest, try to take them out and have your deck around 40 ish cards, otherwise you're just taking away chances of drawing what you need. would be easier to give my opinion if I knew what was in your deck.

I did some calculations just for you. Having 43 cards gives you the highest chance of getting your desired cards. There is no such thing as luck, knowing mathematics can help you increase your chances of getting your desired card though. I'm one of the best players in my country (Sweden) and I always play with 40. I just realized that 43 is indeed a better amount. So yes, 52 is a waste of opportunities.

I have always seen that 40 is the ideal size to get cards you want. But with it you run out of cards really fast. Bumping it up to 50 seems a good way to make sure you have the cards you need and more. 60 may be little much but that's just me. 52? Seems bout right! Have you tested it? See how it plays out multiple times as that will be your biggest deciding factor.
