Glacier scientist: I knew Data Hadnt Been Verified

The scientist behind the bogus claim in a Nobel Prize-winning UN report that Himalayan glaciers will have melted by 2035 last night admitted it was included purely to put political pressure on world leaders.

Dr Murari Lal also said he was well aware the statement, in the 2007 report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), did not rest on peer-reviewed scientific research.

The evidence that human-induced climate change is occurring is crystal clear. If you look at all the serious scientists in the world, there is no big disagreement on the basics of this ... it would be absolute lunacy to act as if climate change is not occurring.

The British High Court ruled AL Gore LIED.

The judge identified 9 LIES and ruled that the "apocalyptic vision" presented in the film was politically partisan and thus not an impartial scientific analysis of climate change.

many people are alarmed that the polar ice caps are melting ... but it is why temperatures are so low now ... even though they are at record highs ... they should be much higher because they always follow co2 levels which have hockey sticked up ... you can think of global warming like leaping off of a tall, tall bldg ... the melting of the ice caps doesn't kill you nor does the fall from the bldg ... what kills you is when you hit the ground and after the ice has melted
