@mewc402 I'll concede that Martina does indeed project her voice better and has a much better vocal TECHNIQUE than Carrie. However, Carrie has far more natural ability, both in terms of vocal range and vocal flexibility. Even with better technique, Martina starts straining quite a lot on D5. Sometimes when she belts the final "man you OUUUUUUUUUUUUUGHTA see her" in "Broken Wing," it sounds like one of her lungs is going to home flying out of her mouth. For Carrie, a D5 is CHILD'S PLAY.
