This mission is great the whole Vegas setting and satanic theme was just awesome! One of my fave levels and the views of the shamal casino was amazing! I highly doubt that 'absolution' will be ANYTHING like the other HM's.
man that guy in the red is a little pussy. 3 shots and hes down? cmon now. if your gonna challenge someone, at least be able to back your shit up. what a rat.
In Las Vegas, 47 embarks on his final mission with the Agency. Hell, at this point he IS the Agency now. The hit involves a dirty CIA against gun smuggling for a Romanian crime boss, but their enemy operatives EVERYWHERE to give trouble. Better make sure you make this swan song count......
VERY nice.....
Looks like one guy had too much to drink.
CONVENIENCE!! :D
This may be invoking Murphy, but I wonder where those enemy operatives are.....?
So, what causes you to snap someone's neck instead of crushing their windpipe and arteries with the wire? And why don't you usually just snap their neck instead of strangling them, is it too noisy or something? (I've never played this game, though i regret it)
The neck snap is called simplified strangulation. When there's no room for the actual longer strangulation animations to play in, thanks to walls and objects, the game just does the non-animated neck snap. There's no disadvantage to it, in fact it's more advantageous because it's faster and the game is even set to simplified strangulation in the options by default, but I personally like to see the animations play out.
I liked the animation from Contracts where 47 turns the target somehow around and drops him on the ground with them facing each other as 47 strangles him. Somehow it was just so brutal, probably because of the victim seeing 47 while dying. It was a rare animation in Contracts and apparently it's not in Blood Money at all.
@JohnnyDFox I've seen that one. Its rare, but I got it when I fibered a man on the boat level. The guy who goes into a room with a lady after kissing in the hallway. Most of contracts strangles made it into Blood Money, but apparently designers didn't think to make a equal chance system instead of a random one.
There is something kind of comical to the neck snap, in that they seem kind of like they're made out of thin plastic wrapped with soggy cardboard (effortless). Not very dramatic.
I would be happy and have much more faith in the next one. I don't think Absolution will necessarily be a poor quality game anyway, it just won't be much of a Hitman game with everything changed so drastically. I wanted another Hitman game to plot murders in, not another linear fast-paced action-adventure game about a hero on the run looking for revenge.
@Swissjar549 Because of one little optional feature turned off on the later difficulties, everyone enters the whine realm, can't you people just wait and see? I doubt they screwed this up, but I shall befall the same way, if you're right, I stand corrected.
There's a side door near the elevators that you can pick in order to get into the elevators without having the security scanning you. So if you want to use your silverballers, that's one way to sneak them in.
Johnny, you take a cassette in the room near the parking-entrance?

Motherf..., I can't understand: Vaana was killed twice?))) Or who was this "angel", killed by 47?)))
alex1his1inf1maj 1 month ago
@alex1his1inf1maj The angel was an enemy agent hired to kill 47. The bartender was another one.

Uh.....symbolic much?
How to wait a long while, didja?
Yeah, the devil mask were a dead giveaway.....
Holy freakin' CRAP, that singing is HORRIBLE!!!! DX
Awesome, you got the info on who's been trying put you out of a job! ......and KILL you as well......
Another batch of waiting, huh?
There's the first actual target. Now for the second.....and any other opponent operatives that get in your way.....

@UdtheImp
MAN that's an ugly mask.....
What's through there......?
Once again, symbolic much?
Wait, how does he know who 47 is? How does 47 know HIM?! WHO IS HE?!?
This is SUCH an obvious trap......
Second best......? This oughta be interesting.....plus it seems this guy has no intention for revealing 47's identity.....
Wow. Took him out in just three shots. You really ARE the world's best assassin......and its been PROVEN!! XD

@UdtheImp
Guess that answers why you were fiddling around with that console beforehand.
Oh wait, that first guy you killed WAS one of the targets? Mission Accomplished then. Now to hotwire that van!
WHOA, WHO THE HELL?!?
Oh, its that FBI agent! And this time he asks 47 a really HUGE ass favor......
Though, it never hurts to provide SOME moolah first......

It is? I don't recall ever seeing it. Have to go and strangle people now.
Pressing directional buttons when attacking is supposed to control what the animation will be, but it doesn't seem to work for me.

Evolution is good, a complete genre-swap is not.
