@TheRetardedAstronaut Yes, it IS, NO it's NOT you. The MD-80's all have down-pitched noses too! Looks strange, doesn't it? Almost like the nosegear is too small for the plane
CRJ Mean= (Canadian Regional Jet) I learn that on a Magazine, they are Canadian Jets Make by Bombardier, these kind of Jets are design for Regional transportation. Very Nice Jets. Very Nice Video.
@Sharod101 How the airplane is designed is what gives it the stability, not the size. The F-117 Nighthawk is one of the most unstable planes built, and without computers ANYONE literally would get motion sick it's THAT unstable. But, that plane is bigger than a lot of other planes. So, my point is don't spread fiction when they're not facts. Pick up a book and read it yourself. I'm not making this stuff up.
@EatMyPropwash in any case, a smaller plane is much more vulnerable to feel the slightest turbulences. i get what you're saying, but size (in this case) does have an effect. so does weight, and weight balancing.
you can try on a large scale with the real deal 747 and CRJ 200 or go scale with R/C, bigger planes are much more stable, design does take into factor, but size has a huge impact (and size is also a factor in design).
proven fact. big difference b/w C172, B1900D, CRJ200 and B757.
Well the CRJ700, is made by Bombardier, and they're known for their Learjets, which aren't that much different from the CRj's and a lot of CRJ's are used for business/regional airlines like American Eagle.
This is very quick though - throttle forward at 1:21 with full power at 1:25 and lifting the wheels of at 1:46!!! - watch most take offs-'s - yes the majority aren't rolling starts - but they go way over 30 seconds before rotation - this was only 24 secs - or 21 from the max required thrust - they wouldn't be able to lean forward!! - LOVELY! My Audi A3 turbo lifts off quicker than a 737 ha ha ha ha - 737 - Enter at your own risk!!!!
Flew a Lufthansa CRJ 200 from Manchester to Munich in 2003 - the acceleration was the most powerful I've ever known - the 700 coming back was better though - the seats were a better design - though both were leather and had loads of leg room - just wish I felt the power more on the 700 - I AM CLARKSON!! - I love power!
I flew on US AIR CRJ-200 back and to where i was going. it was nice, but the second time my ears hurt like hell and my leg was moving by itself from the pain lol.
And I will go on one on the 26 December. Logged into YouTube only to see if I could find a take off. And found one! I'm excited, my first CRJ700 flight.
I don't understand why bombardier had to make that nose gear so short it makes it look like a car with busted struts

Those GE turbofans look so small in comparison to the size of the aircraft. Thank you for posting and sharing.

i 4got 2 ask this a long time ago but how fast can planes taxi like wats the top speed limit
adamgamedude 1 year ago
@adamgamedude They should taxi not faster than 25 knots, normal taxi speed is ca. 20 knots. With this speed, tyres and brakes are longer in service.

@MontgomeryBL oh ok thx

well remember the larger the plane, the more stable.
its not as big, so it'll feel the small turbulences the 747's can't. which can make it more fun to fly, but you don't fly far with this.

Definitely! Sounds a lot like an MD-80 spooling up.
But are they comfortable to fly in?
dave4shmups 2 years ago
comfortable on short flights yes, but opt for the aisle or bulkhead seat

The nose becomes light at around 70kts on the CRJ - 700 , hence why the nose wheel was off the groud quickly.
