for adobe pre 7: my screen is cut off. if i play a clip it plays but all you see is barely the top of the cilp playing. Help please

Sorry if this is a simple, or stupid question.

I'm trying to have a pair of audio clips transition, one into another. I can get the video to transition using the effects, but I can't seem to get the audio to blend together the way I want.

All I have are two audio transitions that seem to fade out the first audio track, then fade in the second audio track.

I could easily make the audio blend without fade in Windows Movie Maker, so I don't know why I can't do the same with this program.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I'm not looking to make the audio fade out; I guess I didn't explain that quite right.

I'm looking to make a cross-blending of the two audio clips where they transition.

I guess it's technically a crossfade, but the only thing I've been able to do is to have one clip's audio fade silent, and then have the next one fade in from silence.

Instead, I'm looking for a constant stream of sound where one clip blends into the other; no silence.

I think so.

If you're talking about how you can arrange the clips in the timelines for "Video 01 Audio 01", "Video 02 Audio 02", etc, then yes.

But if these layers are something else, then no.

I've only been using the program for a few weeks, and it's taking me some time to get used to it.

@crapmunky99 you still have the audio fade out and fade in. Unlink the audio from the video in both the clips. and have the audio of the second clip dragged to the left in a lower layer so its fading in as the other is fading out. and you might have to adjust when the video comes in.... its kinda hard to explain through text. have skype?

Hi, I'm having a terrible time trying to figure out how to do a moving blur or mosaic as they do with peoples faces on TV shows like COPS, with Elements 7. NOT Elements 2,3,4, etc.. Elements 7. Instead of blurring a face, frame by frame, I know they use the Track Matte effect also. Could u show us how to do this in a vid? I would be so grateful. I'm sure many people would like to know how to do this also on Elements 7. Not even the adobe forum would take the time to tell people how to do this

@DickAmateur you would maybe need after effects im guessin. You would have to track the face. and then apply it to a null object. and make a small layer with a blur and parent it to teh null

why is it that on an audio track that I'm working on, there is no sound on the last few seconds of the clip? I don't know how it did that. for some reason, it cut out the sound and the yellow bar is not indicating that the sound has been turned down (or off). have you had this problem before?
