actually french cartoons were called anime fist. "dessin animé" which translates to "animated drawing"

How did you get the great audio quality?

The channel i recorded it from ran this version. i later cut it up and posted the song. i was lucky because the next day all the episodes had that terrible background sound.

I remember watching Sparticus very very early morning as a student at uni and it was very, very weird and yet totally addictive. The music by Vladamir Cosma (who also composed the music to the wonderful My Father's Glory) is excellent.

I was in Kindergarten and first grade when I watched Spartakus. I watched it every morning at 5 AM (or perhaps 5:30) along with The Mysterious Cities of Gold. I will cherish those memories forever!
