I spent a week here in Sept. '05 as a part of the Staffordshire Regiment's Tercentenary celebration. The most memorable part of the stay was the only pub nearby, "The Labour in Vain!" And the walk to & from! lol Sadly, I learned that it is now closed...Going to be tough to quench a thirst now when staying at Swynnerton!
