1. It only hurts when you stretch to a bigger size, but it shouldn't hurt more than a day or so. Unless it's infected, blownout, etc.

well really i think ears are small from 18mm down

20+ their quite big and people should be proud...myself im getting my ears punched at 1/2" (only way i can get them cause i have alot of scar tissue and i wont be satisfied till im at 1")

I stretched mine with a 5mm nail.

Then went straight to 10mm.

Actually, I did pierce my ear in that same day in a jewelry store, 20 mins before the stretching.
