well you don't need a Coven to be a Pagan. though you do need a Coven to be a Wiccan. though modern Neo Paganism is just as good I think seeing as I am a Neo Pagan. but there are several good books. 1 being Dorothy Morison's "The Craft: A Witches Book of Shadows" that book has alot of good information as well as a suggested reading list in the back that will help you further on your educational and spiritual journey. :) Blessed Be.

@somerandompagan They are still appropriate terms for a person who follows the way of paganism or wicca. The terms came about long before Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings every did, so the terminology is far older than you know.

I'm sorry, but the wiccan :wizard" is usually very stoic and always in control of their emotions? although i am not Wiccan, i have done my studies into it, and have a few Wiccan friends, and not one of them is "stoic". as for in control of their emotions, that's a near impossibility, the human might be able to bury their emotions, or subdue them for a time, but they will ALWAYS manifest themselves if you do that, and usually in a VERY bad way.

Wicca believes that Greek Daemons (Daimones) are neutral beings which guide someone's thoughts. Wiccans don't "banish evil" or demons. We don't "banish" anything. That's what a witch does, and they only banish negativity. A Wiccan witch is able to be a Wiccan and a witch simply because the religion encourages it. Also, Satanists are not "evil" for their beliefs, and for using demons in ritual. (If any.)

It comes from Middle English, whereas "Wicca" is an Old English word for a male magic-user, "Wicce" being the female equivalent. In Old English these would ACTUALLY have been pronounced "wit-cha" or "wit-che" not "wick-ah" or :wick-eh".

Wicca believes that Greek Daemons (Daimones) are neutral beings which guide someone's thoughts. Wiccans don't "banish evil" or demons. We don't "banish" anything. That's what a witch does, and they only banish negativity. A Wiccan witch is able to be a Wiccan and a witch simply because the religion encourages it. Also, Satanists are not "evil" for their beliefs, and for using demons in ritual. (If any.)

from what i know so far, there is no such thing as a 'wizard' or 'magician' within a coven or within Wicca at all. Male wiccans can be witches just as much as female wiccans can. The term 'wizard' and 'magician' to me just spells out fairy tales and novels. @ShadowHawk72936 Actually the word wizard derives from the word wise, and basically means a "wise person". Nothing to do with evil. It comes from Middle English, whereas "Wicca" is an Old English word for a male magic-user, "Wicce" being the female equivalent. In Old English these would ACTUALLY have been pronounced "wit-cha" or "wit-che" not "wick-ah" or :wick-eh".

The only thing I can say that this lady is doing "wrong" is that she is basing all of Wicca off her coven beliefs. Most Wicca don't refer to any level of Wicca as Wizard or Magician. unless you are EXTREMELY skilled i would not reccomend that. demons trick you and lie and will stop at nothing to get what they want. trying to conjure them at all is too risky. i had one attatched to me and hurt the people around me.

That's absolutely right. It is conjure. You have proper language skills. Unlike some other people I could mention. Conger is a word though, but it means a kind of large scaleless eel found in tropical waters. So, I doubt that's what they meant. Well done I say!

You should also capitalize the word "Bible", put apostrophes after the t in it's, stop putting parentheses outside of the relevant sentence, stop capitalizing random words like "holy" and "made" (unless they are part of a title), and spell the words "righteous" and "you" properly so that you will have proper language skills in the hereafter.
