I saw him last evening 10/15/11 at the Clearwater Jazz Holiday. He had the place rock'in, a great entertainer. He was the headliner and I know why after seeing him live. He played with James Brown in the early 60's and his style of funk shows it. A great show!

It's not just the saxo skills, it's the entertaining and dancing skills I admite most in Maceo. I just wish I had been to that concert!! Seeing these guys live can be a lifechanging experience.
