@chrsharvick29 Actually, rock band does correlated to real drums. I don't know if you've played before, but I do both and rock band has helped me greatly improve my bass kicks and sense of rhythm.

@277cowboy i haven't played much rockband...but i can offer advice that helps on an acoustic drumset. breaking stuff down is always the way to go. try just doing the bass alone. or do the the bass with the snare. sometimes leaving out the right hand makes a difference. don't know if that helps
