  • This is a nice art, from my view of You Tube videos. Would attacks to the legs be difficult to deal with? I am considering more of strikes to the legs and hips.--not of a grappler reaching down. I do want to learn Bagua.

  • Nice!

  • love this it is great explanations of my previous thoughts but the quote ill take from you "out flank your opponent" that rung like a clear bell and it looks like what i been looking for thank you.

  • Interesting. Reminds me allot of tai sabaki in aikido. I know that the founder of Aikido was in China and learned there. Perhaps also baguazhang?

Anyways, a good video that makes the footwork easily understandable and shows how important it is.

  • Good video, but it's pronounced bagua "jahng", not "zong".

  • This is one of my favorite bagua footwork vids. Great work!!

  • Nice video Sifu Rudy, thanks!

  • The lecture is good. Shifu rudycurryjr makes good pointers on the logic of Ba Kua strategy.

  • It's great that you've taken the core theory of Baguazhang, and other internal arts, and put them into a modern context. There are lots of styles and teachers out there that only address their martial art applications in a situation when they are up against the same art, but through your videos you've shown that even techniques from styles hundreds of years old can still be applied against a modern style of fighting. Very nice, and very important for every student to learn.

  • Sifu Rudy is mah nigga

  • great! thanks for posting this.

  • Sifu Rudy, you are a constant source of guidance and inspiration to me in my study of Bagua Zhang. Thankyou for all you are doing for this great Fighting Art!

  • I passed my blue belt test using this foot work XD Rudy's advice on working with the center works even when you have a terrible cramp ^^b

  • Thank you. These vids are the only thing I have to go on.

  • Really excellent work. A very rare teacher.

  • sifu rudy rules!!
