I saw them at university of redlands a couple years ago. They kicked ass. I actually bought their cd, which i never do at shows. Then I proceeded to listen the crap out of it.
@kendallnkira i feel like that's like picking your favorite child. they're all awesome and down to earth, but i've definitely had the most interactions with mona. my sister and i joke that we're bff now after talking with her after a few shows last year. she's our fellow brown homie. no big.
Saw them last night open for Sara B at the Fillmore. They are so great in the acoustic setting. Their only blip was a new Happy song that was really simple. Otherwise I see great potential and a unique sound. I did like their drummer coming out from behind the drums sitting up front and playing percussions with the 3 other gals
I saw Raining Jane last night in Kansas City, opening for The Nadas and was really impressed. Solid musicianship from all four members and they really seem to be having fun playing live. If they are playing a club or college near you, go check them out!
