  • Hi hi! Have you considered intellectus 424 diet (search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my sister lost tons of weight with it.

  • If u read The New book The Obesity Epidemic you will understand better.. bu the way our goverment food agency advice diabetic people to base their meals on starchy foods.. U should attack them! not Zoe!!!

  • fish, eggs, cheese, salads, green veggies and fats like olive oil, coconut oil, butter, lard, etc.. if i really fancy some carbs i have low carb fruits but everyone needs to understand their limit! In a 5.01 minutes video Zoe Can Not Explain Singolar Situations like yours or mine..

  • @nocurves81 U r right! If u r sensitive to carbs like i am/not diabetic/ u r better off not to have carb meals.. u r better off at eating meat,fisg

  • Actually as a diabetic i can tell you that this diet is not conducive to good blood sugar control, especially if you are a brittle type 2 like i am. Even "wholegrain" breads and pastas spike my blood sugar, also baked potatos and butternut squash are murder on fasting glucose levels. This is a good diet for people not sensitive to carbs but don't pretend it works for everyone. There is no one perfect diet for everyone.

  • bowulf!! The Harcombe diet is not a starving diet!! inform your self befor u say certain things!!! Vegetables and salads r carboydrates as they r full of water while starchy veggies, pasta, rice, bread, grains, bean, etc.. are carbs only! they hardly provide any water.. infact u need water to cook them!! Good luck to u!!

  • Yes! Pepper is great - as are all herbs and spices - so enjoy any of them

    Best wishes - Zoe

  • can i use pepper? black or white in my food...

  • sorry cant hear you very well

  • Hi there - many thanks for pointing this out - we'll check the volume better when we make the next video. You may be able to adjust the volume on your PC, even if the original soundtrack isn't great. Thanks again - Zoe

  • I would ask you to reinvestigate the low carb diets because there are no low carb diets that are simply meat and fish. Most in fact (especially the Atkins Diet which I am most familiar with) encourage the eating of green, nonstarchy vegetables. Most followers like myself actually eat more vegetables now than ever before. What you are describing is a zero carb diet, which I can't find anyone advocating as long term solution.

  • Hi! Sorry that I didn't mention the carbs that you can eat on a low carb diet, but that's because they are such a tiny part of the diet. Atkins allows just 20g of carb a day, e.g. just 6oz of salad, so the major part of the diet needs to be zero carb foods - meat, fish, eggs etc. As a vegetarian, who doesn't eat meat or fish, I couldn't live on eggs, cheese & salad for very long. The Harcombe Diet lets you eat fruit, wholegrains and other carbs and it's just so much nicer (and healthier?!)Zoe

  • That's only on the Induction phase of the diet, and 20g should be enough 2 cups of salad veggies (which is much more than just lettuce like peppers) and one cup of other veggies (like tomatoes and onions)--6 servings of veggies. Induction only needs to last 14 days after which you progress through OWL rungs, which include all food items you mentioned.

In either case, good luck with your diet. You are on target with low Calorie criticism. Starving yourself to lose weight does not work.
