The engine sounds a bit diesely on idle, there's a bit of a rattle there definitely, other people have noticed this too and it's perfectly normal for the V10s and also same for V12s... but when in sport mode, it's a beast!! The engine is fine!!

@robwilco1 I don't know. I asked another M5 owner.  He said it's fine. But if it gets louder, then there's a problem. Could be because of the sensitivity of the mic on the camera. Doesn't sound so loud in person.
