I wish we would see Tom Hulce in more movies but I guess it is the price for his incredible performance as Mozart, to be forever associated with him. From what I have read about Mozart his personality was probably very close to Tom's rendition, but in any case he made him attaching, cute and sexy.

I was looking up some of Beetles (german songs that I couldn't get it out of my head ^^) and ended up here too ;). And btw: Mozart was Austrian, Austrians (for the most part) speak German.
