  • 2:31 WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!!!!!!!1 hahahahaha xd

  • 1:20 it's Vectrex console!

  • How come, when the spaceship is destroyed, there's a proper model explosion effect on the trailer but not on the film itself?

I think the acting quality was good on this film throughout, not just Klaus. Judging from the commentary they escaped any major tantrums in this film. This was after all shot in the comfort of California, not half-way up the Amazon with Werner Herzog.

  • You'd think androids would have better teeth.

  • @Dreadnaught396 ya thumbs up to that one :), like not to mine to his

  • @Dreadnaught396 the androids are more human than human!

  • I wish I could furnish my room in those set pieces. 80's sci-fi art was the best!

  • I can't believe Kinski passed up Raiders of the lost Ark because it had a "shitty" script.

  • Dood looks like Max from Pi!

  • I love Brie Howard

  • i watched it and thought , hmm

  • This is a really long trailer...

  • I saw the movie in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, in the summer of 1985. They wouldn't allow me to enter the KuHO/KINO because I had a bomb in my big backpack. In the end they let me in if I left my backpack by the box-office and I figured that if there was a bomb I'd rather leave out there. As there hadn't been any explosion during the movie they decided to treat me to a royale tour of the KINO complex.

P.S. I agree with 007 in Miami after having seen "Fitzcarraldo".

  • 2:02- You will never find half nekkid breasesis like them in the space suit of no damn space android.

  • At 1:21 he's playing a Vectrex. It appears he has the Star Trek cartridge/game installed.

  • this was a good film but, strictly for sci fi lovers like myself.

  • I love Kinski but I do wonder why he turned down Spielberg for Raiders 'moronically shitty' script and then did stuff like this?!

  • Kinski must have clocking at least 5 tantrums a day during filming. All those crap actors he had to work with, man, I would not want to be on that set.

  • Thanks for upload a sci-fi trailer.

    Max

  • This is the kind of movie I'd sit and watch late at night on YouTube because I can't sleep.....kinda like how I am now....

  • same

  • - @ FirstCandidate2Hate -

The font they used to create the logo for the movie REALLY looks like some 50's diner sign.

I still haven't watched it and probably won't...I've got too many things to do.

  • This was one of the WORST movies I have ever seen. I LOVE Kinski but he couldn't polish this turd of a movie. There is nothing in this movie, the characters are all hate-able and the story ludicrous. Save yourself two hours and skip this piece of crap.

  • awesome movie!

  • watched this film last night. fucking excellent!

  • e ora, anglofoni del ca..., beccatevi 'sto commento in italiano: questo film è meraviglioso!!! L'ho visto quando avevo 13 anni e non ne ho più dimenticato l'atmosfera. Mi ha fatto amare il genere. CIAO

  • Whoever mentioned somebody doing a remake of this how about Ben Stiller? I could totally picture him playing Max. LOL

  • It looks interesting, even more if you consider Kinski, who was a great actor!

I'm just wondering to know how the android did get an... how can I say... lol with the girl! XD

  • Thanks for sharing. Klaus Kinski is one of my most favorite actors. His daughter Natasha is a gifted actress as well. Monjinou - The Naked Truth

  • wasn't the guy who played max also in Police Academy?

    looks familiar

  • No, but he was in Critters.

  • Klaus Kinski plays in Time Stalkers, a low budget sci-fi TV movie as well. I liked Time Stalkers but can't find it.

  • This was an awesome movie! If you've never seen it, the trailer tells pretty much tells the whole story. I highly recommend it.

  • Thanks for the recommend. If you enjoyed Kinski's performance you will probably enjoy his daughter Natasha Kinski in "Cat People." She's a lot like him. Monjinou - The Naked Truth

  • Wait, wait; what was the name again?...

    "*ANDROID*..."

Cue: Early 80's Van Halen sci-fi font.

  • "Cue: Early 80's Van Halen sci-fi font." -POOP

LOL!!!! xD!!!!! Flick is begging for a remake BTW.

  • The stuff of sci-fi nightmares. hehe

  • this looks good.

  • It is.

  • that's some creepy theme music!

  • I love this movie. Can any one tell me where I can get the end theme from? Also I have forgotten it's title, can you help?!

  • The music is by Don Preston, who was in Mothers of Invention, but I can't find the soundtrack, soz. Try downloading the movie? :-/

  • I remember the song during the credits was really cool...

  • I saw this movie when i was a kid. I barely remember anything on that trailer. I hope i can see it again. Thanks for the post.

  • I never seen this before in my entire life, because i'm watching this movie in 1982.

  • interesting trailer - i think it gives the film too much of a horror feel - i always think of android as a light fluffy kinda flick!

  • I haven't seen the movie yet, but based on the reviews I've read, I know what you mean. Critics have said this one is actually a good drama, comparing it to "Blade Runner" and "Metropolis". Since Roger Corman's studio put this movie out, the trailer focuses on the film's sexual and violent nature, even though it got away with a "PG" rating in the US. Thanks for posting.
