jvc sucks balls. i have a jvc and wen u put it on ur computer, u have to convert it which brings down the quality ALOT! never get a jvc. go on my profile and look how it turns out
use sony vegas to edit. render it for youtube as .flv or .mp4 (H.264 codec) with 1280x720 or 500x312 framesize and 30fps, bitrate not higher than 10,000
Hi, I've got some doubts, and maybe someone can help me. The recording time for slowmo on this cam, is 3 secs? and its 250 fps the maximum fps allowed right?
which soft is good to edit high definition? adobe premiere cs3 does not accept hd, and it's not good with mpeg at all. thank you in advanced!! good vid man.
Hey i was wondering if the sr-12 had a slot built into the top to house a lavaliere reciever? Does it have one? I want an sr-12 but only if it has that slot to put in a better mic system. Please reply. Thanks. And if you could send a pic that would be great.
The only good thing with the JVC is that it has got a cool lens hood & a better control focus ring for easy, special effects. Otherwise, go for the Sony.
In slowmo? It let's you record 3 real seconds, and then slows it down to 12 seconds. If you use a video editing program, you can slow it down to 48 seconds and it will still look slow and smooth
It's bad quality because it's supposed to be 1080p, but cause you're using Windows Movie Maker, it's squished down... Plus, YouTube killed the quality as well. Also, you need to save it as a .flv or .mp4 or something and it will be better. Also, try uploading to Vimeo.
im thinking about buying the HDRSR12 but the camera is so tiny it makes it look like a toy. Plus its exensive yet. Oh tho i need high definition so i gues this one is better even it has 120GB, what you think folks?
well the only difference between the sr11 and the sr12 is the hard drive. Everything else is the same. I personally will be fine with the 60GB and trust me it does not look or feel like a toy. The camera feels molded for your hands. I have no complaints. :D
It wouldve came with the "picture motion browser" when you see the vid you want to convert, right click it and convert it to WMV. It'll say "convert to wmv"
Ok ill check it out cause it asks me to burn it to a dvd witch only plays on AVCHD compatible players ( BLUE RAY)..... then if i want to copy that DVD to a dvd but viewable in any dvd player.... I asked around in forums and they say that only a few programs can edit that type of video thatnks for the heads up thou oll look around for that...
No thnx. Itls funny cause picked up the 8 platinum just last night for $60 at target... it was by itself and the box was beat up so i nagged and they called the manager... he gave me a discount. I cant say i like it thou....
how do you get your videos off of the sr12?
