the french parts in the original video is game all the people in France know. You peel of the petal of a flower one by one saying "he loves me (there goes a petal), a little(another),a lot(1 less), passionetly(-1), madly (another one peeled), not at all(another one)" and you continue peeling them of, the phrase you say on the last petal of the flower is supposed to be how feels the person you love. I'm sorry, but "What Sarah Said" has a distinct message that can't be translated to another song, even if it is by the same artist. If you actually listen to the lyrics and THINK, the french parts are the complete substance.

Listen to "What Sarah Said" for a few days straight and look up the meaning behind the french words (hint: it's a french game called "How Much He Loves Me)
