@TheRacedriver92 yeah its a good thing that i never had an intel VGA card. ive heard worser... intel extreme graphics 2. it can barely run DOOM 3 at low settings and i run doom 3 with average 41-45 fps EVERY level on ultra settings texture, bumb maps, high quality particles, decals but shadow disabled. (on 640x480 still looks great) i can make a video if i can but it will be on a cell phone cuz i dont want fraps to trim down the fps.

anyway did you tried Doom 3?

@Mitko54682DS yes tried doom on both voodoos and they give about 50 fps no isssues at all. Also tested it on my laptop with good resaults, ´just like i said i need an capture card for my desktop :)

The enhancement glide feature for..most of the classic NFS ? The Porsche game seems underrated to me..and definitely PC versions are superior

I remember, when I play Giant Citizens Kabuto on this Graphic 6+years ago.. it was really great, but then something su*ked up and the chip has burn :/

this is the real SLI not nowadays sli where with 2 gtx 480 in sli u get 30 more fps or less...

u can really see this game with a very old sli card... it doesnt lag...

Dude, i have nothing against your activity and wish to keep old tech running, but i'd rather see more fucosed videos. Agree with desolatorXT, you should have skipped all the unnecessary steps and just press start, so we can enjoy the game, not the menus.

Dude, next time do some preparation before puting something on youtube. I truly wasnt interested in your account details or why the gear wouldn't shift of witch car you wanted to drive in freeride. That is all irrelevant to wheter the game can run on old sli and produce reasonable and playable framerates.

@desolatorXT crysis did not run sens it did not have enough ram. rambus is hard to find so i got only like 640MB or so.

i dont have an HD3650 but i dont think it would help the performence any. Sens the voodoos is rendering and the gf2 is doing only 2d.

@ignatz1987 the gpu that renders the game is voodoo 2.

gforce is only used to render the 2d graphics like the desktop boot screen bios and stuff like that. All 3d rendering is turned off in the gforce card.

why you don't try with a integrated VGA (or S3 Virge or similar) +3Dfx Voodoo 2 SLI?

@maverick85ale why bother i did show that voodoos did the render in another video where i unplogged the VGA cable from the gf3 while the game wore running of voodoos. And the game keept running while the vga cable was unplugged.

this game is also not running on the voodoo 2's...

this game doesnt even run on voodoo 5, and its a more modern card than voodoo 2.

its run on your "2d" card.

on winXP, the voodoo 2's can only run opengl, and glide. there is a D3D support too, but its full of bugs, no SLI support, and its not that just easy to get it work, like you did; clicking on a game.

Its the pci version with an anemic p55c at 200mhz with 64mb ram (sdr with a TX chipset ) and a slow quantum HDD but a am throwing in another drive to go along with it. PS the voodoo card has a fan mod of mine that fits the stock cooler. :D

I hit a snag with win98 not recognizing other drives even though all was as it should be up to that point so I managed with a better rig. K6-2 500 (oc to 550mhz) 256mb ram, 15gb hdd, win98 (used another drive to move the files with win xp).

Got drakan order of the flam running and got TES2 installed but quake2 didn't work.

try windows ME its more up to date then windows 98 still runs windows 9x core. Im sure that would work out allot better for you man :)

i don't personally own a voodoo, so i am curious to know how you got past the pixel shader and hardware t&l requirements on some of the games you plays. Other than that, looks like you're doing some amazing stuff!

i first of all use an hacked driver that allows opelGL and D3D other then that i emulate T&L and shader. It works grate on almost any game... some don't work but most do work :)
