@iiTzJamo at your first point... pc's are NOT consoles, it's a gaming platform, i can agree to that, but not a console... also to the second point i believe what he means with the hardware is old is well compared to the hardware today the 360/ps3's hardware has begun to become a bit dated... though i agree... pc's are more expensive but dont compare a laptop price to a console price, laptops are like 150% price or more for the same perfomance in a stationary pc.

customization is by far not as easy as it looks here and has a graphik far lower that we can see here.

@fabianczisch Thats why you should either upgrade pc or clock it. if you are thinking of getting the game go to systemrequirementslab found by searching Can You Run It and put in APB to see if it will run, dont worry if you fail on cpu (thats what clocking is for) also clean your fans, graphics card and motherboard for any dust and try run the game again. NOTE: this may/will only increase FPS but so long as you have a decent graphics card and enough ram for minimum spec you wont really go wrong.

It is always really hard to do console releases for an MMO game. And the fact that it is only playable if you have internet connection is a major killer. It makes it a very limited market. PC is the only noted release for now. It'll be nice, but it'll become hacker infested in no time. its bullshit, but that's life... unless they can magically make the best mod protector ever made...

2. They bring out new versions of the same consoles all the time and people buy it, although their old one is still fine

3. Games cost more

4. Console hardware is old

Anyway in the end you're likely to have spent more money on a console that on a PC. Plus if you buy a good PC once, you don't need a new one for years. I bought mine in summer 2009 and all new games run just fine, BF3 will too.

@m4rkm4n it all depends on how much you take care of your console...... ive had my ps3 since it came out at the end of 2006 and it still runs perfectly fine. i got a brand new computer back in 2009 3 years after i got my ps3 and ive had more problems with my computer than my playstation and i barely use my computer compared to my playstation.

A computer has a lot more power and possibilities than a console, as well as a lot more risks than a console. Therefore a computer has to be treated right so you need certain knowledge. If you have that knowledge (you probably don't), the computer is superior in all aspects.

A console is built in a way that you don't need to know anything besides where the power switch is. Of course that's good for people not familiar with how computers work etc.
