Wow........ I came here after seeing a little 5 minute music docu on channel 4 about Hare Krishna, Mantra and I thought I would see what I could find. In 2006, I was walking through Covent Garden and I heard some beautiful singing and music, I followed this guy for 15 minutes listening to him singing Hare Krishna, he wore an orange robe. I thought to myself, he must be in such a great place mentally and have such a strong, inspiring belief to just do that without thought of judgement. Admirable!

Hi. Sorry.I was replying to CheshireCat & was only referring to the chakra/disk depicted spinning at the tip of a divinity's finger. I said it is destructive of ego all the more because the disk in Indian legends often cuts HEADS of villains. Hence the symbolism.

No there are 20 major chakras and at least 101 minor chakras. I forgot the exact number. Also there are 12 dna strands. now we only have 2 strands.

Hinduism knowledge can be divided into 2, shruthi(that is revealed) and smrithi (memory). Shruthi books are the 4 vedas, upanishads. smrithi are epeics, ramayana, mahabharatha, puranas, (like skanda purana, bhavishya purana, and the others).

The dharma or what you call religion is actually called SANATAN DHARMA.Hinduism is perversion of Sanatan Dharma. This is the view of most vaisnavas. So do your reading on sanatan dharma.And read read read,if you don't then you only have your self to blame. Reading will protect you in the beginning stage from nonsense. In Hinduism there are many.
