thw whole show is a spoof, and none of the info is real. Geraldine is really British Comedian Peter Kay- a man. the whole point of the show and her winning was to make fun of the talent show tv. Celebrities mentored each "contestant" where Paul McCartney mentored Gerlaldine, Micheal Jackson mentored another guy, and 2 other girl pop stars mentored someone. everyone did awful covers of ridiculous and funny songs. Peter still dresses as Geraldine for events sometimes to sing spoofs
