  • what beautiful form for such young ones! it will be quite some time until my little ones or even myself get to learn these Kata sets and these boys are well over our heads lol. Much respect to them for taking the time to learn these so well already!

  • osu, to the brown belt!

  • :D the kid with the brown belt it's like a shaolin xD

  • 1:30 it was avatar aang!!!

  • Oh to be able to move my hips like that... I want be young again!

  • superb hips n all

  • superb

  • good kata

  • Haha the first kid was doin geki sai

  • i'd like to see those 3 children now, especially the 3rd one. anyway, his seiyunchin looks like goju kai, am i wrong?

  • @onasis72 no youre not wrong. its the goju kai version of seiyunchin called "seienchin" i think. cheers :)

  • hypnotizing

  • awwwww so cute

  • I THINK THIS KID WILL KICK MANY ASSES IN SCHOOL:P

  • this kid is good i like. tha bald one is exellent. Alex you better do better. hes kicking our butts in katas.

  • Al mismo tiempo que pena por otro lado que en la mesa se perdieran de ver a este competidor. Entiendo que deben atender muchas cosas pero aun así.

  • these children r better than everyone in my martial arts dojo. makes me wanna leave.

  • @lawker777 what style are you training ?!??

  • @MrSebzi @lawker777 i use to do taekwondo, i left that place a year ago. theres an average 4 students per class. its about to go caput. wt style u do? im sure tkd and goju ryu r both gd, depends on the teacher n the fighter.

  • @lawker777 ok

  • i remember doin all these...ahh memories

  • great, just great!!!!

    Peace and Blessings

    Sensei Thomas

  • I enjoyed all the children. Osu !!

  • excellent standard, you should be really proud of yourselves, well done!

  • These kids are good! The third one is better then some of the "so-called" adult black belt I saw in USA.

  • not bad!!!!!

  • The third kid i stronger than the others, his Kiaïs are more useful.

  • that first one was a different form of GikSaiNi, second one was the same, and the last one was a different form of Saiunchin, when i say different form, i mean different from what i do, i do Traditional Meibukan Goju-ryu Karate-Do, this is different, but a lot of the movements are the same, and to see kids be able to do this stuff at their young age is really quite cool too see

  • I think the first one was the best, but it is sooo refreshing to see kids this young doing traditional kata such as seiyunchin is beautiful, i love it that they are not just doing some stupid XMA, shiz....

  • the second kid has a cute kiai. lol. those kids perform their katas much much better than some of our senior belts. btw im a 8th kyu (orange belt) in goju ryu.

  • hmmmm....what age are the kids?? =S

  • the third kid was the best

  • insane those kids must be born into it like the monks

  • man that was RAW!! jeez that bald kid was so damn ill..I know it's just kata but they all showed such great form and control, that is very commendable

  • These were superb performances for such young kids. What's the deal with the black belts, though? It's inappropriate to award black belts to players of such tender ages. Were they wearing belts that belonged to older players in their groups? The last belt was ragged. No way that kid had been doing karate long enough to wear out that belt, unless he did it artificially.

  • Dave, I thought the opposite of the players. The first guy's obi was ragged and the other 2 were newer. But I agree with you that by giving them an old obi from your closet is definitely feeding the ego.

  • Hi Dave,

The first child was a blue belt(faded but a blue belt) and the other two are brown belts.

depends on the source of belts.....ippon do has real dark dye, and shureido is lighter

  • "Players"? This aint no game son.

  • its wierd he started with Gekesai ich and then went into gekesai ni

  • The okinawan version has closed hands in the first chudan uke

  • But then he went into kake uke which isn't chudan uke

  • Sorry, I missed your comment. Sumimasen, yes his version is the correct JKF and Okinawan version. You must be used to seeing the Yamaguchi version that uses kake uke in all chudan uke in the kata.

  • pas de son c nul

  • -.-

  • ANYWAY this here is some good stuff

  • it's good if your into kids you child molester.

  • Last kid is great. Wish him all the best and he will sure become a good world class teacher in future :)

  • 200% Awesome! Nihon kids rocks!!!

  • what a saddo

  • u r weird

  • Compliments will not get you into my pants.. Keep tryn though.

  • You have to be messin with us otherwise you need mental help.

  • I'm not messin..Will you be my Mental Health Doctor??? I hope your Japanese and you like to infilct pain on my testicles.. That is the only way to cure me.. Well, you can also spread your legs for me.. I will be cured if you do both.. Remember, Japanese woman ONLY!

  • Nihonjin you mean? Nihon=Japan, jin=person Nihonjin=Japanese person.. You now stand corrected.

  • All I can say is "Damn." That was good stuff.

  • this kata is gekisi dai ich

  • So you didn't watch all three, huh?

  • obviously i didnt

  • but aside from details, what promising karateka at such age..

    well done..

  • that was aweful. he lifted hes feet every time he took a step and didnt do the blocks properly either.

  • My goodness. These are some of the best kids ever! I have been visiting dojos in Temecula

to sign my kids up for class but it's a great

disappointment. I am sorry but the Yamashita American schools are not up to par with the the Japanese teachings.

  • Can anyone tell me what rank should a person have before opening his or her own dojo. Is second degree black belt good enough to open a school? I am very interested in signing up my kids into MA. Thank you.

  • In most organizations, third dan (sandan). Sometimes a special permission is given to second dan (nidan) by his or her organization. It means that only sandan and up are to be addressed as "sensei" (or those nidan who run a dojo with permission)

  • Yes they have permission, and thank you sir for the information. Have a great holiday to you and your family.

  • I advice u, it's better u send ur kids to a karate school, which affiliates directly under a japanese or Okinawan Karate Assn (Has the H in Okinawa or Japan) and they hv branch certificate and the head teacher has trained under Japanese or Okinawa teachers and still learning from them, by going there or inviting them to your country. Best rgds

  • First two are doing Geki Sai Ni, the third one is doing Seiunchin. (Goju-Ryu)

  • isnt the third one saifa??

  • No, not all...it is Seiunchin. Look up others...also spelled Seienchin. Not Saifa at all!

  • Seiyunchin is Gojo-ryu kata and Seienchin is Shito-ryo kata. Although they are VERY similar. However, ShitoRyo's Seienchin is the shiteikata in Karate Tournament.

The thrid one is Seiyunchin from Gojo-Ryo.

  • order usually goes, gekisi dai ich, gekisi dai ni, saifa, seienchin, excuse my spelling

  • I believe he meant the third one of this video clip...The third kata performed is seiyunchin

  • The kid who does Seienchin is great!!!

  • When I was in Japan last, the kids at the JKF Goju Kai championships were impressive! It means there's a future :)

  • iiiiiia you are a moron.

  • No problem, honest mistake. Tae-Kwon-Do uses red as a purple/brown belt.

  • wow that red belt has alot of strength in his form for such a young kid.

that nice and deep horse stance, very strong for someone his size. quite impressive.

  • That's a brown belt. In Goju-Ryu red is a Master color while all red is Grandmaster.

  • thanks for the correction man. still quite impressive.

  • And most Okinawan instructors wear the regular black belt.

  • VERY similar to our kata.. good job!

  • Domage, que les enfants de Suisse ne sont pas aussi concentré que ceux du Japon.

  • hey, the last kata is one of the best. I generally do that one during a grading or a competition and it really does ensure me a place in the 1st 2nd or the 3rd.

goju Ryu Katas are a real beauty. Well done!!!

    D

  • What's the name of the form the bald kid is doing?

  • Seiyunchin. Excellent performance too.

  • now this is something. never saw little boys doing kata this good 0_0.

  • this is aweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesome......... :-o

  • this gegsai dai ni is what i am leaning now XD

  • some of the best Kata I have seen, online or otherwise. Very strong and great form.

  • Very nice Geki Sai Dai Ni and Seiyunchin. Excellent teaching, Sensei whoever you might be.

  • maestros *o*

  • That red belt kid is BEAST!

  • agree!
