@TheEradicator13 How does that make me racist for thinking the tone he's talking in is kinda mono? How did this even come about me being a racist and him having an accent?
Hi again, for almost 2 months i had been watching 3d Blu rays, 3d videogames and lots of hd content. Although i had checked all settings available on this tv, i cannot find the best settings for playing videogames. Please could you give me an advice?, and for internet widgets too. I use almost every day twitter, fb and youtube on my tv. This is for me the best 3dtv for everything rather than panasonic and Samsung. If somebody needs info, advice or have questions about plasma vs led, let me know.
Hi, i have bought the same hdtv but unfortunately i will be having it in a week. So, i decided to buy an hdmi cable for my PS3 and home theater. I was thinking in MONSTER, specially the HDMI 1000HD EX cable, What do you recomend me?
@toobakedtooplay Since the TV has amazing color and deep blacks, yes it makes them look very good. But if you mean 3D, then using the simulation 2D to 3D some games look alright and some don't
@fukkalukka Almost as dumb as a person that can't read the desription of this review which clearly states this is Part 1 showing the design of the TV. If you wanted it on, watch part 2. DUH
@907akraven I am loving it. The 3D isn't really supposed to jump out, but give it much more depth. However, on some movies things do really jump out. "Bobs Big Adventure for instance on the Monsters VS Aliens 3DBD is a good example when he blows the party blower. Or IMAX Deep Sea where a large fish literally swims out from you're TV straight at you.. Pretty amazing 3D effects
@BlazeCustoms Thanks for the feedback.I got the lx900 60". I'll have to check out the "deep sea" movie. It's on directv this month.I do notice the depth. Only seen 2 and a half movies so far. Waiting for "my bloody valentine". Heard there's a lot of ghosting, but we should see by tomorrow.on blu-ray.com my name is 3DinAK.Thanks man.
@BlazeCustoms i bought panasonic because both sony and samsung have 3d ghosting problems. but i still notice little bit on certain scene but most time dont. i never thought mitsubishi is the best choice for 3d because of DLP technology is better than plasma or lcd when playing 3d.
Thanks for making the effort to post this however I was expecting more of an opinion as to how you thought the TV performed rather than an overview of all its technical features which I could have read about elsewhere. You're very knowledgeable on the subject but all most people want to hear is "I turned this TV on and I was blown away by the quality" or "this TV was a huge let down and here's why..." rather than a rundown of all the features. Thanks for providing the info, though :)
heyyyy more videos of that tv.. i wanna know more of that.. to see more.. still waiting to have that tv.. it late here in finland... gonna wait for one month :(.. put more videos.. better to watch then to read :D thanks
I have both, and the HX900 outshines the LX900 in picture quality. 3D is also smoother in the HX900 as it uses motion pro 400... which is an improved version of motion pro 200 used in the LX900.
However, I am more interested in the LG LX9500 as it has all the feature that I want....8mm bezel (almost frameless), 400hz motion, 3D ready, Full LED (1200 LED array) and a cool sensor remote like the WII's.....plus many more features. Bargain for the money.... too bad I 'd just received the sony's :(
having a slim tv is pure cosmetic. Thin is not necessarily better. Usually these Tv s are edge lit, hence the performance is compromised. Beauty VS performance. The Sony Tv to get is the HX900 which consist of direct LED array. This enables local dimming of certain zones on the TV making blacks even deeper. The LX900 does not have the ability to local dim any area, hence it has clouding issues.
Thanks Blaze for the great review on the Sony LX900. Still deciding on which one to get. The HX model or the LX!! I know you have to purchase the 3d transmitter and the glasses on the HX Series but your review has tilted me towards the LX model!! By the way? How was Ice Age 3 in 3d?
@Djian1970 I would go for the LX! Ice Age 3 looked amazing in 3D, I was very surprised how the 3D popped out and things looked like they were coming towards my face!
I have the 46HX800 and the youtube video are in HD. I didn't do any other setting so you might wanna check your internet connect and if you are using the wireless i'd recommend you try the wired. Mine was just awesome.
whoa your saying if you leave the room the tv will shut off ? what if your watching something and you go to your kitchen but you still want to keep glancing to see whats going on, is there some setting that you can set it to so it wont do that ? because turning off whenever you leave for a second is kind of inconvienient
@BlazeCustoms Ok i looks like im going to have to get cloudy with a chance of meatballs because thats the only 3D blu ray they have in the us god i hope i didnt wast all my money im going 2 die if i did
@ji3200 Yes, Kamikaze is correct, with the conversion you get a field of depth but nothing like you would with a 3D bluray or 3D broadcast on TV. 2D-3D looks good and is cool, but 3D blurays really are GREAT
Thanks for the review! I've been waiting to see these here in the US. However I'm a bit disappointed after seeing your review because the screen looks pretty reflective. How is it in person?
Yes we truly do! I can't stop trying games and movies converted from 2D to 3D. Some games looks great while others just look normal. Same with movies, some look amazing while others don't show much effect. I can't wait for the PS3 update that allows us to watch 3D Blurays coming soon.
I think I'm the first person in the world to actually review this new TV. I haven't found any reviews on net by people that actually have this TV, just lame reviews of how they saw it at the CES show. I was waiting for a review by CNET or Consumer Reports but they had nothing due to the fact it's not actually out yet in the USA. I bought mine here in Japan. Hope this review, and part 2 of my review helps those interested. This is truly an amazing TV!
