  • Brilliant. Love it.

  • yeah that's the pronunciation I am accustomed to.

I didn't realise the accent was that different in south wales. haven't been there.

I was really confused when i listened to the other versions on youtube.

    she has a lovely voice.

  • It's a lovely version, and I think this is probably the best National Anthem ever, though I'll get into trouble for saying so, da boch 'chi!

  • Da iawn, was that a north wales version?, because the sound was a little bit different from what I've heard before.

  • @cruithneuladh You're right. Siobhan was born in North Wales, though came to Australia when she was 2. Her Welsh pronunciation may have been a bit out in this video. Her Welsh has improved since then :)

  • @sharbas

  • great!

    diolch yn fawr!

  • Yeah, no way that's a welsh speaker. Beautiful voice though.

  • @Clarice007 She is Welsh, just not from the south

  • Beautifully sung!! Timeless - Much better than those dusty choir versions. Diolch :o) - says a German in love with all Celtic languages x

  • Does she speak Welsh?

  • @Disglair Does she play the balalika?

  • is this North Wales? because the pronunciation is all different from what I know? She's really good!

  • That's right, Siobhan is from the village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, Anglesey, North Wales. She'll be singing this at the opening of the Australian Celtic Festival in May this year.

  • Bloody hell long name for a village

  • show off XD

Ella sai di bod yn haws dweud Llanfair P.G ?

  • @dreamerchaser101 north walian

  • @dreamerchaser101 Most people in wales learnt the national anthem by ear. So they often get the pronunciation wrong.

  • Judy Collins came to mind... not sure why ... Hi, talented young one.
