@centhocklars01 No. Guenchev totaled 362.5 kg at a bodyweight of 67.35 kg, for a Sinclair score of 492.7 points. Suleymanoglu's score was 505.8 points.

@zyabayz101 Does Sinclair take into account height to weight ratio? Could Naim have added 37.5kg to Berger's old record if he hadn't been several inches shorter than Ike? No possible chance! Shorter = more muscle. I prefer Guenchev because he was the heaviest lifter to achieve 3 x in a jerk.  It's tragic that Tom Topham was not a 20th century man, he could have beaten anyone in any formula so easily, with tendons and ligaments so much thicker than normal, and HIGH testosterone!

@Apjooz You're not informed as to history---even recent history. Berger jerked WR in 1960. Topham was England's best ever strongman made possible by unnatural glandular activation and tendons and ligaments 3x normal size (proved on autopsy).

As for Kurlovich, like a lot of SHWs I'm not sure because of the precise bodyweight and depending on if you could official or unofficial results... officially its vardinian at 492 after Suleymanoglu with 505.

@jernmyre no his best was 185kg back in 1984 a 4th attempt ,his best total was 322.5kg once in 1984 varna (140+182.5) and at the 1988 euro champs (145+177.5)

@Mikeyburger3 that bronze was pretty cheap for that era, I guess the loaders & officials only had to load for one person 160 so took the easy way
