  • The hitchslap, Deathsmacked- Hitchens toes pointing toward the Heavens at 60, while Graham still kickin at 90 BYE_BYE

  • @megavlad888 haha you're happy he's dead, aren't you? you were afraid of him. afraid of his intelligence and pointing out all of the flaws in religion. you shouldn't breed, you miserable cunt.

  • @megavlad888 by the way, Hitchens died at 62, you dumb piece of shit. and billy graham is 93. haha you can't even get THOSE facts right. lol but since your probably in religion, I wouldn't expect you to research facts. dumbass.

  • Comment removed

  • @megavlad888 Hitchens achieved more to advance humanity in one morning before he got drunk at lunchtime than you ever achieved in your whole life.

  • im from yorkshire you anti-yorky bastard lol

  • This man is just stupid. Billy Graham evil? He is the evil one! All he did was babble out nonsense and many of you foolish people cheer him on. I'll bet he wish he knew Jesus right about now!

  • @shabbat73 Get well soon.

  • And where does Hitchens get his view of morality from. What constitutes evil? If there is no God, then nothing.

  • @ItsDavidWright

You know Hitchens is dead, don't you? As to your question concerning what constitutes evil, the answer is simple: evil are those people who are so lacking in moral fortitude that they need a holy book in order to refrain from becoming monsters (an yet somehow manage it anyway).

  • @ItsDavidWright Nobody needs god or the bible to fathom morality.

  • @ericxpenner you have no idea of what you are saying. if that is the case, each person will do what is right in his or her own eyes. there must be something higher than all of us to set moral standards or everything we do will be soley based upon how we think or feel and we all know that cannot work

  • @shabbat73 Of course it can...

  • @ItsDavidWright That's probably the most offensive card that religious people play. "Without the moral instruction of a jealous, angry, tyrannical murderer like the god of the Christian bible, mankind would have no basis for morality." Surely, we wouldn't need to take instruction from such an ill-equipped source in order to know right from wrong, or to have a basis of instruction that would lead us to moral actions and thoughts.

  • @ItsDavidWright

    Grow up.

  • @ItsDavidWright If there's no God then right is still right, and wrong is still wrong. When I do the right thing I do it for its own sake, for its own merit, and for my own conscience. When you do the right thing it's because you're scared of getting caught by the thought police and being thrown into hell's dungeons by the celestial dictator.

  • @huwrj If there is no God then there is no standard for right and wrong. Anything could be right and anything could be wrong. Is it right for people to piss in their own mouths? How about for a group of people to raid another group's territory and then cannibalize whoever they kill? Chimps do that, but I guess its the right thing for them to do, I'm only human, who am I to impose my moralities?

  • @QBALL85 "Is it right for people to piss in their own mouths?"

Pissing in your mouth has nothing to do with morality, but if the only thing that is keeping you from pissing in your own mouth is believing in an invisible sky daddy then good luck to you.

  • @ornitorrinco01 Ok, it has to with intelligence. Nevertheless, where does the standard come from?

  • @QBALL85 Christianity sets the standard for right and wrong? Your lack of education shines through.

  • @ZelenoffFanClub Did I ever say Christianity? You're inability to read comments and answer questions shows me how well you're education shines through.

  • @ZelenoffFanClub Oh an assumption it's true, but given that 'god' has only 3 books in print in which 'he' espouses any kind of morality I took a punt on Christian. Jews, Muslims and Christians all believe in the same god anyway, so it's not that much of a faux pas if I'm wrong. Anyway, there were morals before all 3 versions of 'god'. Morality is cultural and right and wrong are subjective. I am correct, so feel free to change your opinion.

  • rest in peace

  • THIS means that Hitch here actualy shares something in common with the Phelps clan ( WBC ) ?

  • Comment removed

  • Hitchens has always been blind to general and historical aggression of Jews against Gentiles and their subversion of White nations because his mother was Jewish by halachic law, since HER mother was a full Jew. This is his biggest intellectual blind spot. It's utterly asinine to say there is no justification for anti-Jewish feeling and that such feeling necessarily evidences a "disordered" mind. What a load of crap, Hitch. So disappointing, tsk.

  • @jthomas12793 14/88

  • @BrendanIsCool Damn right!

  • @jthomas12793 just saw a camry commercial in which a white human is the girlfriend of a negroid. Made me nauseous, like throwing feces on a picasso.

  • Hitch tells the truth. Warning---This may hurt.

  • why do these famous atheists have such pleasant to listen to voices?

  • @jonesyop Because they're English.

  • @jonesyop Baby we speak honey and baked apple.

  • He is going to hell

  • eyup, bitch.

  • Antisemitism isn't cool, Anti Zionist is okay

  • @clintcastle I'm Jewish and I am a fervent anti-zionist!

  • Well, it looks like Hitch has SOMETHING in comon with the Phelps clan ( funny how that works out )!

  • Hitchin’s is the biggest fool, he may be a good thinker but his soul is bankrupt and his heart is hard as rock. The truth is everybody dies and when Hitchin’s is laying is his death bed the truth to life will be very clear to him and may be too late and the only one who can save him is Jesus.

  • @MrRwarby I see you posted this canned comment on several videos with Hitchens in them. Cheap....

At least Hitchens doesn't spread lies like a preacher does. He's an honorable man. You are a hateful ugly person!

  • @GodlessHappyAndFree You are a hateful ugly person!

  • @flyinv1967 Yes, I hate assholes! LMAO!

  • I LOVE CHRISTOPHER HITCHENS !!!!

  • Henry Moore, David Hockney, Malcolm McDowall, Patrick Stewart,Thomas Chippendale, Charles Laughton,Joe Cocker,Michael Palin........All Yorkshiremen, you must like one them Hitch?

  • He is not nearly as intelligent as people (including himself) give him credit for.

  • the only way to end "anti-atheist bigoty" is to round up all of the Christians and murder them so they can't be around to speak the truth anymore.

  • How is Graham anti-semitic? By saying that "Jews" control the media? They have a great amount of control, and that's pretty obvious if you research. Saying that doesn't make one a Jew-hater, which anti-semitic really means. Graham is a Zionist heretic, but no anti-semite from what I know of him.

Nixon's a crook who deserves no respect.

  • @AthosAmo lol, oh yeah, referring to jews as the "synagogue of satan" isn't antisemtic at all. i don't understand what is so hard about people just saying "yeah, billy graham said some fucked up ignorant shit" and moving on.

  • @toribjork10 Anti-semitism is hatred of Jews. You can believe that a group of people is deceived en masse, and not hate them. "Synagogue of Satan" refers to the sway the devil has over anti-Christ Jews who put their man-made traditions above the words of God. Only fake christians like Martin Luther and countless Roman Catholics in history would hate Jews.

  • @AthosAmo anti-semitism is not necessarily defined as an outright "hatred of jews". it includes any kind of prejudice or suspicion of jewish people as well. saying, basically, jews are worshipping satan fits into this category. everyone BUT certain christians define graham's words as antisemitic. you aren't the judge on whether or not something offends those of the jewish faith. even graham himself admitted his words were wrong and apologized, whether it was genuine or not who knows.

  • @toribjork10 Of course the Jews are offended by "synagogue of Satan." That's not the issue.

If we are going to call Christians like me anti-semites just because we don't bow down to the Jews, then we need to not avoid the fact that if I'm an anti-semite, then so is the Jewish God. He has said in the Jews' own Scriptures: "Get away from this assembly so I can put an end to them at once.” -Numbers 16:45. That makes "synagogue of Satan" pale in comparison.

  • @AthosAmo also, faith and religion do not get a free pass on saying offensive things just because that's your "personal belief". jewish people were offended by graham's prejudiced words, and rightly so, and they have the right to say he was wrong without christians saying "that's his faith and beliefs, so you aren't allowed to say that he's wrong". that's not gonna fly anymore, and quite frankly it's getting out of hand.

  • @toribjork10 I'm glad you didn't actually strawman there, for I didn't say that you can't call me or any other person claiming to be Christian, wrong. Call me wrong all you like. You're just gonna need some substance behind any accusation. I got mine, haha!

  • @AthosAmo "bow down to the jews"? i don't think that's what anyone wants. but if you're gonna throw out things like "jews worship satan" and "control the media" and expect people, and not just jewish ones either, to not call you antisemitic, then you're either incredibly naive, or self-righteously smug. and neither one is a quality that one should consider admirable or virtuous. other than the bible, what "substance" are you referring to? the bible isn't really valid to anyone but christians.

  • @toribjork10 "...the bible isn't really valid to anyone but christians." WHAT AN ANTI-SEMITIC REMARK toribjork10 has committed! How DARE YOU imply that Jews are not as spiritual as Christians! How DARE YOU imply that they don't care about their Bible as much as Christians do! How DARE YOU accuse ME of anti-semitism for echoing the Jewish Scriptures, yet have the audacity to make such a thinly-veiled, anti-semitic remark!

Obviously, "bow down to the Jews" is figurative. It means appease them.

  • @AthosAmo ok, heeeere we go with the crazy. i really should listen to people when they say don't argue with christians because of the wall of irrationality and insanity that's impossible to get past. have fun "exposing people" using your useless book of fairy tales and hate. you can spout all the hateful crap you want and say it's ok because it's what your "holy" book preaches. i really don't give a fuck.

  • @toribjork10 You say I'm irrational and insane but can't prove it. Your words are just a proud atheist's dogma repeated to make yourself feel better about having lost to a real Christian. You wish the Jewish Scriptures were lies. You look more anti-semitic the more you bow down to the Jews! lol

  • @AthosAmo um, i'm not an atheist. and the term "atheist's dogma" is an oxymoron. I "lost"? haha, there's that self-righteous smugness i was referring to earlier. keep patting yourself on the back, buddy. believing in the fairy tales presented in the bible is the DEFINITION of irrationality. that's all the proof anyone needs. and the fact that you think you "won" something by quoting scripture as "substance" makes you look quite crazy.

  • @toribjork10 Agnostics are atheists. You are one of the atheists looking for Hitchens videos, most likely.

It's no contradiction just 'cause you say so. I am not self-righteous just 'cause you say so. The Bible isn't wrong just 'cause you say so. I am winning the argument because all you have done is make empty claims, and I have exposed you as the insubstantial hypocrite you are.

  • @AthosAmo aaaaand i'm not an agnostic. anymore assumptions?

how are my claims empty? atheism is a lack of a belief of god and dogma is the rites of a religion. therefore, an oxymoron. As far as the bible being "wrong". I don't have to prove anything. The one making the claim, in this case christians in the sense that the bible is true, have to provide the proof. The burden of proof ALWAYS lies on the person making the claim. That's fucking debate 101. You're not "winning" shit lol.

  • @toribjork10 Big deal that I assumed you're some kind of atheist. It was a reasonable guess. What are you then? DOGMA, by MerriamWebster: "1a : something held as an established opinion; especially : a definite authoritative tenet b : a code of such tenets... c : a point of view or tenet put forth as authoritative without adequate grounds." Yup. You got dogma. Both of us made positive claims, so we both have onus on us. Give me a supposed flaw in the Bible. I'll go 1 by 1.

  • @AthosAmo what i believe is irrelevant. you really want to go by every flaw in the bible? that's quite a task. see, you're going to try to use scripture and faith as proof. you really think you're the first person i've done this with? you can't explain scientifically or with facts, that a woman gave birth to a child without sexual intercourse. that "god did it". i mean, this goes for ALL the fallacies in the bible. come on now, surely you're not that naive.

  • @toribjork10 Who says I'm going to "try to use... faith as proof."? Faith isn't proof. I used the Jewish Scriptures earlier to prove that the Jewish God is more of an anti-semite than I can be, if I am an anti-semite, which I am not, unless you define it as merely "offending a community of Jews." I nearly never use the Bible in my arguments for the supernatural, though I can.

Your "argument" against miracles is one of incredulity. A fallacy. Try again, closed-minded dude.

  • @AthosAmo LOL, see? you can't prove a flaw of the bible. and that is that it's scientifically impossible for the immaculate conception of have occurred. what, because it's a "miracle" it doesn't need proof? someone is "close minded" because they don't blindly accept something out of a book written thousands of years ago.

and i'm still waiting for the flaw of the immaculate conception to be proven. even though you won't be able to do it.

  • @toribjork10 It's not meant to be a scientific observation we can recreate in the lab. Otherwise, what credit would God have for it? It's called a miracle because it's impossible to have happened naturally, accidentally. "LOL, see? you can't prove a flaw of the bible." So you're saying it's flawless? lol. Thanks. lol

  • @toribjork10 I'm going to cut to the chase, atheist-in-practice. Do you think it idiotic for someone to claim that it is possible for a sandcastle to have been accidentally formed in thousands or even millions of years? Why?

  • @AthosAmo no, see i'm doing the strawman analogy game. that's not "cutting to the chase". why did you even offer to prove incidents in the bible if you knew you weren't going to be able to? what a fucking waste of time. i told you that unless you used your faith in god as "proof" it would be impossible.

  • @toribjork10 I didn't say I can prove incidents in the Bible. I was only going to refute your arguments against the Bible's validity. Big difference, as something can be defended as possible and rational without being defended as proven. I believe in the Bible and not another explanation for reality which answers the whys and not just many hows 'cause there is no competition worthy of the name, as I can show. Will you not answer the question? It is a clear trap. You know what it means.

  • @AthosAmo and my argument against the bible being valid is one of it's claims is that of immaculate conception. that is impossible and irrational. there is only ONE reality btw. you haven't shown anything but blind faith. and since you failed to prove anything or "refute" anything, i'm done talking to you. so no, i'm not answering your strawman analogy. this conversation with you is over. so go tell youself you've "won" and pat yourself on the back. ridiculous.

  • @toribjork10 You know you're continuing your logical fallacy called argument from incredulity, right? You are a closed-minded atheist-in-practice. You don't want it to be true, and so it must not be true. You don't see it, and so it does not exist. If you lived in the dark ages, you would not believe in Pluto, for it was unseen. You don't have omniscience, yet you are "SURE" that miracles are impossible! If it weren't about winning, you would have just shut up long ago. I refuted your illogic.

  • @AthosAmo YOU HAVE TO PROVIDE PROOF IF YOU MAKE A CLAIM. again, that is the FIRST thing you learn about debating. i don't know how many times, or in how many different ways, i have to say it. you haven't done that, AT ALL. and yes, it is based on incredulity. LOL that is the entire point. you think i'm going to believe you without proof? therefore, this "debate" is OVER. either PROVIDE PROOF or move on, dude. and since you can't provide proof, i'm going to move on for you.

  • @toribjork10 I never claimed that the Bible is proven to be true. That was YOU PUTTING WORDS IN MY MOUTH. lol

What I claimed was that it was rational and possible and right. Now, you claim that it is impossible for the immaculate conception to have happened. So, why do you have such a serious problem applying your words to your other words: "YOU HAVE TO PROVIDE PROOF IF YOU MAKE A CLAIM." Prove that the immaculate conception is impossible, as you claimed. You're awfully inconsistent.

  • @AthosAmo are you fucking serious? you want me to prove to you why it's impossible for a woman to fucking get pregnant without sex with a man? you're a fucking idiot and need to go to science class.

and no, don't turn it around on me. you still have to prove immaculate conception. you JUST said that the bible is "right", YOU are making the claim. i didn't just pull the immaculate conception out of thin air, it is IN THE BIBLE. that you say is "right". prove it. you're not getting out of it

  • @toribjork10 Ad hominem and argument from authority. Science doesn't have all the answers. Since the supernatural exists as I can prove with my sandcastle analogy, miracles are possible. Only a closed-minded bigot would WISH otherwise. The Bible is right, and I can defend it as not wrong. That's all I can do. As long as I can show that the alleged flaws are not really flaws, then I am doing the proving that needs to be and can be done.

You're a coward who can't practice what he preaches.

  • @AthosAmo this is like talking to crazy person. i really can't take this anymore. i mean, you are an IDIOT. that's all there is to it.

  • @toribjork10 Ad hominem. Goodie. Your list of fallacies keeps growing. You should have kept your word and left.

  • @toribjork10 Strawman? You are really pathetic, man. You just assert that something is wrong, but can never show how. I've seen much better from you atheists. And don't act like you're not. You said that miracles are impossible. Hence, you're an atheist. And you were ashamed to say it, huh?

  • @AthosAmo assumptions, assumptions, assumptions. yes, immaculate conception is impossible. however YOU ARE MAKING THE CLAIM THAT IT HAPPENED. so YOU have to provide the proof that it's possible. NOT ME. are you following me yet? catch the fuck up.

  • @toribjork10 I didn't bring up the immaculate conception. You did. You claimed it was/is impossible, and so I countered your fallacy with the exposing of it. To use your words against you which is easy to do because you're always inconsistent: "YOU ARE MAKING THE CLAIM THAT IT [DID NOT] HAPPEN[.] so YOU have to provide the proof that it's [im]possible."

    Practice what you preach.

  • @AthosAmo Well, I know nothing of the rest of this argument, but I will dissect this; Don't place someone who can't use proper grammar and spelling (toribjork10) into the same category as every other atheist.

And don't claim that because he thinks miracles are impossible that he's an atheist. Deists, agnostics, and Buddhists claim that miracles are an impossibility.

Don't call him pathetic, you just made a fallacious and ad hominem attack just as he did.

  • @AgowTisro An ad hominem isn't merely an insult. An ad hominem is an insult INSTEAD of a rebuttal. There is nothing to refute, as this guy's merely making unbacked assertions such as that I strawmanned with my analogy. I ask him to put up or shut up, and he scrams. So I call that pathetic. To say that miracles are impossible is to rule out the power of the supernatural to act. Atheist=unbeliever in the supernatural. Agnostics are atheists. To disbelieve in the supernatural is to be an atheist.

  • @AthosAmo By the OED the definition of "Theist" is: Belief in God or gods. So an A-theist would be not believing in God or gods, I know plenty of crack-pot atheists who fervently believe in supernatural phenomena. Materialism is the disbelief in miracles, but not all atheists are materialists.

  • @AgowTisro Technically, you're right, as the key word is theos, meaning that belief or not in at least one deity makes one a theist or an atheist.

It's just that miracles are virtually always said to be caused by a supernatural being/god.

  • @AthosAmo I half-agree with you, it really depends on which definition of "Miracle" you're using.

  • @AgowTisro "I know plenty of crack-pot atheists who fervently believe in supernatural phenomena."

    - I do too, they're called christians. Remember, to muslims, sikhs, jaines, taoists, hindu's and the dali lama, they are the atheists...

  • @losghost I have to say I have no idea what this comment is implying.

  • @AgowTisro Allow me to explain. If one is christian, believing in christ and god, and one is a jaine, believing in no god head, but have a belief in the path of the niganthas, you cannot readily believe both to be true. Therefore, a jaine to a christian is an atheist, as they do not believe in a god head, and to a jaine, the christian is the atheist.

Neither of what one would say to the other would convince them that their way is the correct way, ergo, they are "non believers". Hope it's clear.

  • @AthosAmo I know christians such as yourself have this strange confidence whenever you argue with them however. So I'm probably wasting my time trying to get any kind of proof or rational answer out of you. All you really seem to do is spout scripture, bizarre assumptions, and self-righteous rhetoric. All followed by a hilarious self congratulations to yourself stemming from the foolish confidence that your religion teaches.

  • @toribjork10 The reason I quoted Scripture was because it was relevant to the issue of the Jews, who are more in touch with their Scriptures than you are to reality, even though most Western Jews are as atheistic as you. And I say you are atheistic now because you're just like an atheist, with the same empty rhetoric and ad hominems and parroted arguments. You're all the same.

  • @AthosAmo dude, i've blocked you. just stop lol. this is ridiculous. go ahead and tell youself you've "won". i can't handle talking to someone who doesn't understand how women get pregnant.

  • @toribjork10 Oh look. The atheist has closed his ears after being exposed as a hypocritical, bigoted, closed-minded fallacious loser.

It's an honour to have been blocked by someone who makes the typical atheist look smart.

  • @toribjork10 By the way, it's a strawman fallacy for you to have said that I don't understand how women get pregnant.

Your fallacies: strawman. Argument from incredulity. Argument from authority. Mine: Asking an uncomfortable question?

  • @toribjork10 And I did not say that Jews worship Satan. If you want to win an argument, don't patently put words in my mouth. I'll just expose you.

  • This makes me squint so hard it makes my eyebrows hurt.

  • Billy Graham is actually a wonderful preacher..but i guess he wouldn't know that seeing as he's to busy proving the Bible wrong. May God have mercy on his soul.

  • oh #test

  • Billy Graham is an "evil man", but Che Guevera is NOT? Che Guevera was a COLD-BLOODED KILLER.

  • Atheists should have a national holiday. Christians celebrate Christ's birth on December 25th. Atheists could celebrate their beliefs on April 1st.

  • @acrovader

I think national science day is just about the same as national atheism day

  • @acrovader Wouldn't that be a step towards turning atheism into a religion or a cult? I thought atheists had nothing to "believe" in? That is Hitchens'/Dawkens' argument for why atheism isn't a religion and/or doesn't require faith. If that's the case there is nothing to celebrate. I imagine a true atheist wouldn't want to adorn their "beliefs" with such religious-like, traditional overtones, like the Christmas holiday. Besides, Christians get Christmas, atheists get ever public school day.

  • Ifhe is an idiot what can we make of the President of america Geordie Bush. When asked if he thought it was right for the bible to be translated into Spanish he replied "If English was good enough for Jesus it s good enough for me .America ,you voted in this imbecile ,and now after iraq ,him and his cronies are rich beyond any of your dreams, while your country is going down the toilet

  • @WongOmowale Althrough that's true,still this guy's a fag.

  • Wow,what a fag. I may be atheist but Billy Graham tried his best to help people. What does Hitchens does. Curse out people. Pure faggot.

  • @Anon7771 Help people by lying and spreading lies? Oh yeah, and making money off of it.

  • @MrJihadJesus They may be lies, but it's too late for the majority of society to understand.

  • i don't blame CH, people from Yorkshire are cunts, loud, overbearing, and have the most stupid accent in the UK (apart from Birmingham)

  • Comment removed

  • Mr Hitchens is a very smart man and sees the Big Picture. But I'll be curious to hear to what alternatives he proposes to sustain humanity without all these lies.

  • Haha this guy is weird.

  • Don't hold back...tell us how you REALLY feel about BG...

  • why is he covering his mouth when he speaks idiot

  • what about lancashire blokes LOL

  • David Rockefeller's lickspittle Christ' Hitchens supports the Wilsonian model of "diplomacy" which includes, but is not limited to, expeditionary forces, permanent outposts (bases) and exporting/fomenting revolution by sabotaging local elections to depose popularly-elected leaders.

  • As a Yorkshire man I am horribly offended. No not really, LOL I dig a lot of What CH says.... and to be perfectly fair--up here in Yorkshire--we generally dont like plummy speaking public schoolboys,, but here is a plummy speaking public schoolboy I like.

  • @growguyuk Good call mate. Where abouts in Yorkshire you from? I'm living in Donny atm. Not by choice, I might add, but for work...

  • @growguyuk

Well said, perhaps we always tell him our thoughts on public school toffs!

  • @growguyuk Shut up you Yorkshire Pudding!

  • @growguyuk Haha. I think that the Yorkshire thing is kind of a hypothetical example. He's just using it to illustrate the difference between hatreds and dislikes.

  • haha I'm from Yorkshire but I am not offended. He has obviously had bad experiences with people from Yorkshire and it has stayed with him. He is just being honest. Don't take it personally :)

  • @AnHeretick That parable is true. If you don't want Jesus to reign in your life, that will happen. Reigning over your life, and worshiping GOD to me are different aspects of salvation. This is not coercion as coercion implies force and GOD never forces anyone to do anything. The choice is still yours. Will you "fail" to make it?

  • @Elaiyel You don't have to worship Kim Il Sung and his glorious son, we'll just kill you if you don't. You're free to leave Best Korea but we'll shoot you and your entire family if you try. You're not being forced to do anything, Kim Il Sung and his progeny would never force anyone. We're just saying making the right choice is in your best interest. Your best interest being not dying. No pressure or anything. So what is Kim Jong Il again? The Dear Leader? Excellent, and without any coercion.

  • @eyholmess Nobody is running around killing you, or even threatening to kill you, for not worshiping Jesus. You're presented with the fact that you are a sinner already condemned to an eternity in Hell, and the Gospel that Christ has paid for all your sins with His life and arose again. All one is asked to do is repent of his wrong ways and believe the Gospel. So the choice is up to you. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. Or die in your sins and spend an eternity in Hell

  • @Elaiyel Which, assuming the fairytale is correct, would be coercion in the highest degree. I understand that you're religious and hence either retarded or delusional but surely even someone like you should easily see the maffia style "offer you can't refuse" tactic that's being applied here.

Perhaps not, once an adult professes a belief in imaginary friends nothing else should come as a surprise I suppose.

  • @eyholmess You can choose to believe it is coercion. Just like you can choose to believe there is no GOD. These are choices you make and these choices have their consequences. Is it coercion to comply with the laws of the land merely because there are negative consequences for breaking the law? No. Also the personal attacks you parrot betray your own personal prejudices and anti theistic bigotry. You must be very proud.

  • @Elaiyel My personal prejudice extends to all delusions and glorifications of ignorance, religion just happens to be a major source of both. A shining example of which is you.

  • @eyholmess The American Psychiatric Association does not recognize faith in GOD as a delusion. So you're choosing to believe something that has no basis in fact or science. And thus, it is irratrional. You already admitted you're prejudiced. Good luck with that.

  • @Elaiyel That would be because America is the last western country where religious people aren't considered ridiculous. Saudi Arabia doesn't consider raping and stoning a woman for being outside unescorted to be wrong in the least, doesn't change the fact that they're insane in the least.

  • @Elaiyel dont take the side of theism and talk about personal attacks or you will be left wanting. atheists are agressive in their stance because of the constant barrage of hate, predjudice and bigtry at the hands of christianity. the choice is not a belief.. it is either believing in fairytales (which ever one you wish to believe) and following facts and evidence.. there is a reason why every thrid world country except america has a secular level equal or greater than any religion..

  • @Elaiyel

Oh how lovely, believe in JC 'or die in your sins and spend an eternity in Hell'. I'd rather the latter if it means a) sanctimonious @rses like you are avoided and b) i don't have to look Him in the eye and tell Him that his system of faith and reward is so immoral, ghastly, unjust and frankly vile that it goes against all basic standards of decency. Take your medievalist barbarism elsewhere.

  • @MrHood83 So what kind of system do you suggest would be better and more "decent" in your opinion, and just as effective in punishing wrongdoing as well as judging the condition of the human heart?

  • @MrHood83 I agree that the hell myth is immoral & unjust. For top philosophy of religion try Robert M Price's excellent, ' The reason driven life' which is his reply to Rick Warrens, 'The purpose driven life'. For a look at humanity's shared moral core & belief in Matthew 7v12 The Golden Rule try Valerie Tarico or wisdomcommons or wikipedia. Interesting that it is sung by Jessie J in 'Nobody's perfect', "It's time that I learned to treat the people I love like i wanna be loved"

  • @MrHood83 Heh! It's funny how Christians believe God's spiritual bailout of their sins... These are the same people who do not want governments to bail out people in real life. But essentially, the crucifixion is nothing more than a massive holy bailout of people's sins... It is God's welfare program being hugged by these people who believe in it. You don't have to work to earn anything... salvation is yours if you believe Jesus paid for it.

  • @MrHood83 I couldn't add to what you said here. I agree with you 100%.

  • @AnHeretick There are conditions to everything in life.. No one is forced to worship Jesus. If you love HIm, you will. The Bible doesn't say worship God or be eternally tormented. It says believe the Gospel and be saved. The choice is yours to make. This is not a choice you can abdicate, and have things turn out well. If you don't make a decision, the decision is made for you.

  • @Elaiyel Your comments indicate that you have not even read the book you claim to be the perfect word of your god. "The Bible doesn't say worship God or be eternally tormented," you write. I commend the Bible to your reading: not just the "good" parts about love, but the entire book.

  • @sjking1188 My statements were entirely accurate. What do you disagree with?

  • @AnHeretick There is a difference!!

I'd much rather meet the highwayman!

  • I'm from Yorkshire, and bloody proud. So fuck you Christopher.

  • @codownni That's why he doesn't like you

  • @lovepompey4ever93

Thats quite alright, nobody in Great Britain likes him.

  • @codownni Why is that?

  • @codownni you are being a bit precious . Can't you take a joke !!

  • @AnHeretick Semantically there is. Look it up.

  • @AnHeretick The scriptures states GOD is Love, and God is Jealous. Love is not envious. There is a difference between Jealousy and Envy.

  • @AnHeretick You prove my point. The contradictions are in the people who don't understand the Bible. It is impossible for God to lie. God does want everyone to go to heaven, but He won't force anyone. Those who don't believe the truth are deluded and will suffer the fate of those who reject GOD. That's right Jesus says if you want to follow Him and don't have your loved ones in comparison to your love for Him, you cannot be His disciple.

  • @AnHeretick You call that an intelligent response? Pathetic.

  • @AnHeretick It should be patently obvious why I only believe in GOD and The Lord Jesus Christ His Son. Because GOD created the Universe we live in and all that lives in it. And Jesus died for my sins and arose from the dead according to the Scriptures. Do you live in this universe? Have you ever lied at any time or stolen anything? Have you ever lusted after someone in your heart? Then you are a sinner. You need to repent and believe. Or you will find out how real HELL is.
