Use a item (forgot what it was called) that makes his armor go away entierly in the whole duel.

Use double attack

1. Berserk = 3 crit 90% ea hit around 60k dmg

2.Use any 3 - 4 attack on him 60k x3-4 dead.

Took me 1 min or less

Morgul decay + 5 hit move from berethor and 4 hit move from hadhod. also loundwater fury with a lot of elfstones = dead in 2 minutes.

I really loved this game up until this point. It ended so abruptly. Why was I fighting the Eye of Sauron? It had to be the least climatic boss battle ever. Nearly ruined the game for me.

So when you beat him you just start back at your last save point (before the 8 Nazgul's) when you load the game again? Cause that's how it seems. Because I lvl'ed up during the Nazgul fight and when i defeated Sauron I had no Exp points to spend...nor lvl ups. Could someone please explain?

One tip i would suggest is using the Leadership skill with Berethor that removes bad effects and prevents Fear and things like that.

@LegoMarioRPG - Berethor's Shield of Courage does not protect the party from Sauron's "Darkest Fear" move. It only protects from the basic "Fear" move. Idrial's Cleasing Power can get rid of the bad effects, but they cannot be prevented to my knowledge.

Good video. I prefer to just kill him quickly though before he smothers you all with fear/paralysing light. Just Morgul Decay then unleash double attack combos such as Gondor Rampage and Rampage of Durin. Uses lots of AP and slows attack rate a lot but should do enough damage early on to nullify the downside to the strategy.

no offence dude, your strategy sucks, this shouldnt of been a 2 parter this boss fight, i could do it within 7 minutes with my characters, Hadhod stone shield for party, idrial water stallion with 200+ on her Spirit attacks, dealing around 60k damager and Berethor with 200+ Damage, doing ecthelion wrath or gondors rampage, each hit doing roughly 20k damage.

this was so easy, i had problems with the 2 war elephants, but i owned them with good stradegy for example : Idrial : Power of valar and aura of valar then elegost blinding shot, berethor targered strike it was damn easy.

to win sauron the easiest way is to use berethor and his skill that does not count armor or protection, as damage to sauron is super low coz of his armour. then use idrail and elegost to block his attacks i think its a 3 time hit that can do 100k damage each if u trained him properly

When I was defeating sauron, he didn t get a chance to attack! I used Elegosts true shot twice and Berethores war cry twice and Hadhods rapage of helm twice! sauron is easy compared to Balorog and witchking.

Hadhod was always too slow for me, even when i boosted only the speed stat, so i resorted to Elegost, who is just a str8 beast.

@cshepherd13 i used berethor( duh) hadhod for his deadly melee and elegost for his godly 5 hit spear melee combos, and i boosted eleghost with ancient spirit enhancement rune(evil mode this battle) so he can 1hit anything up to bosses and trolls

this game is fucking easy, just play the whole game while learning all the moves early on, then youll level up faster making ur attack more powerfull, use morgul decay on sauron, choose berethor to double attack then leadership - choose courage thing to make party immune to fear and company power then use morwens rohirric rampage and berethors gondor rampage the damage sauron does is obsolete to the amount of damage you do to his sorry ass, btw my cd skips and jumps in the final cutscene! sux!

Darkest Fear ignores Berethor's Courage leadership. It does not matter whether you use that or not, its gonna effect you.

Plus, why the hell would you ever use Morwen?? IMO she is the worst person. Shitty accuracy to start out, poor defense throughout the game, just overall bad. The only cool thing about her is she has the most hits in one attack. She can hit an enemy somewhere between 5-8 times (not exactly sure which it is, but i think its 6)

well i was never attacked by his darkest fear anyway, and if you train morwen up to level 200 or around that, which requires alot of freetime and patience you can get a six 50,000 attack combo, use berethors company valor so she wont miss a shot and her rohirric rampage attack can go up to 300,000, but dont waste ur time training her up that much its not as rewarding as you think!!!!!!!!!!!!! you can beat sauron at with each character at level 40 and its more of a challenge that way anyway

Wow to 200......ive spent 26 hours on one saved campaign and my guys are all around lvl 100, you have waaay too much time on your hands.

I can use her last move, rohirric rampage. Its cool, but one attack is not worth the trouble that comes along with her.

is it just me, or do you guys get really tired of this games sometimes? when I play it i get kinda bored sometimes since you cant run thaaat fast in the game and there is A LOONG WAY to go :p and its the same enemies over and over again, and the same battlemode all the time :p

hey man i just beat that game and was wondering why doesnt it let you save after that because all my characters leveled up like twice and theres no break between the 3 tolls, to the 8 ringwraiths to the eye. and also it still says 99% complete. what else do i need to do??

To get 100% you need to complete all the Evil Mode levels, once you defeat Sauron for the first time, it should let you play Pellenor Fields in Evil Mode. Beat all of them, then fight Sauron once more, then it will be at 100%, if its not, send me a PM.

i use morgul decay if the battle gets out of hand for my guys and i use my melee fighters mostly to loop out of the paralysis of light attack it really works :)
