The gauge is not that very important. With a bit of engineering - quite a bit, actually... - you have done a lot of things that narrow-minded railroad managers will never attempt. If you do not try, you cannot fail... and you never achieve anything, but this suits perfectly the narrow-minded types. But even the best managers can do little without money, and this has been in a chronic shortage for a long time over here.
Without using the GPS co-ords' given, I was at first totally stumped as to where the location was, however after the pan to left I quickly realised that it's just north of Cullinan Station, and the diesel set was on it's way to Zonderwater to collect a load of ore, or otherwise empty the factory siding at Zonderwater of empty wagons.
KM point 12 to be exact on the Cullinan brach.
Nice footage, despite there was no load attached. Next time try and get a loaded train there. It's a sight!
