Normally I hate cover songs, but I must confess, you did a nice job, on a challenging song! What I enjoyed the most was the acapella harmony parts you got in the beginning and during the "ah-ha" choruses before singing "Leave It." It was nice to hear the harmony parts stripped down and be able to hear each note in the chorus. Something that actually is a little hard to hear on the original with all the overdubs. But still, I give it a four out of five stars.
just shows how good the original is and how talented the backroom boys in the studio are. very ambious song to cover, i bet u learnt alot more than u thought about music in general and ur own voice, givin this a shot. its a fair try, but i think ur on a hidin to nothin pickin a track that was so polished in the studio.
Wow! Very cool Cheez! Very impressive! to pull all of that off ... the ears it takes to get all those parts together. Big thumbs up brother! :-) 90125 was a great album. I know it's not the "classic" yes lineup but there's some great stuff on there. It actually has more of an edge with Trevor Rabins guitar being more rockin etc. Stuff llike Changes, This song .., It will Happen .. It really is one of the best albums of the 80's. Definately one of the best produced albums for sure!
yu definantly have talent my man.im a profssionl studio engineer and have worked with yes and you now that thres alot to be desired if you use korgand leslie hammond keys youll far better!!
@TheGatesofDelirium Thank you so much ! and I won't give up until I recorded the whole Yes repertoire haha. I might skip Close to the edge and Gates of delirium though lol
