This clip is from the Cambridge Footlights Revue from some time in the early eighties. (Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie and Emma Thompson were also in the show.)
If you buy the "A Bit of Fry and Laurie"-boxset, this revue is an added extra on one of the DVD's. Sorry, I don't know if it's available on DVD anywhere else.

Those lines always give me goosebumps when I'm listening to this/singing to it. So beautiful in an unsettling way.

I do have grounds. He is a twat of an actor and a twat of an improvisor.
He was a smug twat back then and is now a self loathing twat who wants go get back on the TV and raise his twat of a profile.
I read his interview in the Guardian and he came accross as a twat too.

Wow, this is amazing. Absolutely incredible. I love Tony and think he's absolutely hysterical, and seeing this different side of him with such a great voice is wonderful! Thanks for uploading.

This man has a beautiful voice. It is a bit different, but I like it.

That was wonderful. Different for him, but that's why I like it. I love his voice!

That's actually what I like about this. It's nice to see a more serious side to him instead of the manic comic he is known for.

This is pretty good actually- it's a bit on the serious side, not entirely what I expected of the man...
